Take care man! Have fun doing whatever.

They come back.

They always come back.

GL in RL!

edit: Also, I found out the name of the movie I was looking for. Posted a clip in the thread too!

Anyone who comes in here and belittles him for selling gil is a hypocrite at this point. Would you just turn down that kind of money just for moralities?

Buy yourself a TV or something. Was good knowing you, hope you keep in touch.

You... sold gil?

Well, either way, never known you in game but GL in RL ^^

Says the hacker. Figures you're the first to bring up the gilselling. Since this is in good times, I'll reserve comments I have on the matter but I think anyone could guess what I'd say.

Wow that's a lot of gil you sold there.. I wonder how many other respectable players are doing stuff like that.

Well, Good luck irl.

For some of us, that's not really much money. I won't crap on a Good Times topic, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed since people like this greatly help keep gilsellers in business who continue to ruin the game and its economy for people like me who just like playing the game for fun.

Happy Trails to you.

Can I steal your sig pic? lol .. too late ty

Gratz on rl cash (not flame I mean it)

Least in the end when it's said and done you can say all the time in ffxi got you a new item of some sort maybe a down payment on a car/house or something.

Okay, my first comment was badly stated. I apologize.

I'm not going to defend what he did but I won't attack it either, he's a good guy and I'm sad to see him leave the game. Hope he enjoys whatever he's doing now.

Thanks for the goodbyes, and thanks for keeping things relatively civil.

I'll keep what the final proceeds are going towards a secret, although we all know it's going for hookers and blow.

And to finally meet me for a beer?

Only a little less than $4,000? Jeese, figured you woulda gotten more for that...guess it depends when you sold.

Take care, hope you have no regrets.

lol I still have all the signed gear you did for me man XD

Take care buddy.

Just to extrapolate on this a little, just doing a little fuzzy math with rounded off numbers...

First of all, you take out the 2 years of FFXI fees, which is 24*15 = $360, which brings the total down to $3600.

Now remembering this was made in the span of 2 years, or 104 weeks, you get $3600/104 = $34.62 a week.

Now I suppose you could argue that making ~$35 a week from playing a game is cool. Can't really say it is or isn't. But working a part-time job once a week at minimum wage is pretty much the same amount of money. So as a supplemental income, it's really not all that much when you think about it, especially considering that the people who bought the gil probably made 10x that reselling it.

You still owe me a dozen beers.

Haha, awesome man. I like that RL profit there. :)
See you around these parts every now and then I hope.

SE finally catch you with their RMT-PWNER V1.337?

Just playing, have a good one Sanoske.

Man, this is like the "Chasym Effect." Where something goes to this effect: Botters and gilsellers fucking suck... unless someone I like does it. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretty embarassed that I shared a shell with RMT.
