FFXI, Windower, and Windows 7

For those of you trying out Windows 7, you're going to need the Vista POL installer and this beta hook.dll http://forums.windower.net/index.php?showtopic=14842

After that, just set Windower to run in Admin mode and you'll be set.

The beta's been out for months, and this FFXI fix has been working on it for months. Most of the people who would update with this version have already tried windows 7 beta.

No one's asked about making FFXI work on windows 7, which means either they all figured it out(meaning this thread is meaningless) or no one is trying out windows 7(which still means this thread is meaningless). That's why I was asking about what prompted this thread, because there hadn't been anyone asking about making it work. It's useful info, but it's not necessary to make a thread about it since no one seems to need/want it.
