Actually I have 2 tivo's.
 
Eh i used to afk in front of the warp taru before it got really busy... why? because it fucking works. I used to be able to buy gold coins off the AH at 10k each go to nashamau and turn them into silver coins and put them into my bazaar for 1700 each and sell about 150 coins a night. so those who dont like math thats 105k profit a night before the competition got to what it was and i did like... 15 min work in Nashamau and i would typically undo like 100 or so gold coins off the Ah at once then not have to do it for a few weeks.

I know that the lag is whitegate is annoying but then again its more convenient.

Just too many people afking at certain place really lag others out, it does get annoying sometimes. I dont mind the afkers in front of the warp taru, since I'd be long gone before they would even show up on my screen. Just the ones standing in front of MH and AH... why? I dunno, always like Ms of people at those places. Getting red dot when going to MH in White gate or get booted from trying to use the deliver NPC really not that much of fun.

I don't know why people still cream over taru mp. I was walking through whitegate the other day and actually saw someone in /say bragging about a taru whm/smn in their ls that had 1200 mp. I have more than that on whm/blm not even wearing my max mp set.</offtopic>
 
The real flame should be on people who still have homepoints in Whitegate, or lack BLM at 17 for warp.

Fucking Whitegate in general pisses me off because of all the lag, the npc's never fail to freeze up on me at least once a day causing me to have to reboot. Not a very happy scene at my house when this occurs, especially when i'm omw to a party and i try to get sanction and the npc decides to fuck me over.

... I am both shocked and appalled that I didn't think of this before, because I never target the warp taru without using F8 from 20 feet away before I can even trade him.

Even if you stayed in Aht Urghan 99% of the time, it's still more beneficial having your homepoint in your home nation. Nothing you do in the Besieged Region should require Warp II, considering theres points EVERYWHERE to allow quick access back to Whitegate.

That allows you to save money/IS(your choice) using the Taru to warp back to your hometown, considering when you're finished doing whatever you need to do in the Conquest region, it's a paltry 300 gil to go back.
