Kariri: New and improved! Now in RDM suckage flavour!

I'll try and keep this brief and to the point. For those unfamiliar with Kariri more of her exploits can be found somewhere on page 2 of the flameboard.

I get an invite to a pt this morning in Quifm, arrive at pt, and who do i see but Kariri as our 24 Rdm. I have had a previous bad experience with her but figured why not give her another shot. PT leader gave me lead to find another member shortly after the party began.

I remove her from /blist and /tell her "I have removed you from blist for now but any stuff like warping out on a link like you did last party and i'll remove you from the party." She appologized profusley explaining she was drunk that night and had no recolection of the events. Good enough, apology accepted, moving on.

About 1 hr later I notice that xp is slowing down. After another fight or two, and confirming with another pt member, i find that Kariri is afk and has been leeching away for the last little while. I tried a call and /tell yet no response. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, i dont fuckin think so. She is removed from pt, and after a brief discussion with the members, we decide she is not coming back after returning.

She eventually did return, came up with some horrifically lame excuse, and proceded to tell me to "grow up" for not reinviting her.

At this time she thought it would be a fun idea to grab mobs we were xping on and zone them to kill our xp.(Lower deffukkts tower, doing gigas. Not many mobs in the area.)

What a dirty little fucking cunt. So bitter and jaded at being busted on your own short comings you decide to mess with others enjoyment. Well listen up you twat. That pt went on in one form or another for 10 glorious hours today and we had a wonderful time going from 21-28 in a day . So screw you for pissing off people who gave you a second chance. There are no excuses this time, biotch!

Damn DJ you're sweeter than I am. Good man to forgive and forget. Better man for calling her out...again...for being the kind of dink none of us wants to play with when you gave her a second chance. Shame... Some people never learn. :nono:

On a happier note... I'm up for exp again anytime DJ. :biggrin:
 
Random, long-length AFK's in the middle of fighting are among the top three nasty things you can do to a party. I don't care WHAT the Hell happened. Unless your world is literally crashing down around you, all of a sudden, you've got time to type in a 0.5-second "AFK," or "BRB."

I've had to take emergency AFKs, too, but I always actually take the time to say to my party "Hold on, emergency AFK." If it's an emergency, I let them know, because that's the only real reason to take off in the middle of fighting.

Passing out, drunk, is not an excuse. Falling asleep is more understandable, but please ... just go to bed if it's that bad.

Some tried to defend Kariri in the other thread, but I really can't see a way to do that now, unless your story is less than accurate.


Out of curiosity, though, what was her excuse?

That's the exact reason why I decided to start a new thread. Normally I'm happy to tag on "Here's what Cowlba did today" on the end of a flame thread. (Man i miss that guy. He was the king of the idiots. Thankfully he has bought a new account and is back under the name "Blazn" to entertain us all.) But I want to make sure that everyone knows that there is no defending Kariri. She is a cuntrag, end of story.

Unless she is laying on her back yelling "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up" that is not an excuse.

She did play her job during that 1 hour, otherwise exp wouldn't be slowing down. If she was a terrible RDM (as the topic name states) they wouldn't notice that much of an impact on the exp pre-41. the OP didn't state -any- reasons why she's a bad RDM, which makes me wonder why the topic name clearly says she's a bad RDM.

I've read through the post several times and just can't find anything that points towards her beng a bad RDM (since afk'ing by and in itself isn't a real reason to say they suck at their job)
 
So 1h or so into the party, she AFKs for some unreasonable amount of time without notice. Her excuse is poor, she flips out upon returning to be kicked and comes back on a different job to kill the EXP mobs...

So I'd hafto agree with Uzor, this doesn't make her a bad RDM. It just makes her a bad person in her entirety.

Personally, if I catch a person doing nothing for even 10 minutes I'm gonna boot em so they at least stop leeching EXP. Might not replace em for a bit longer just in case something really happened, but with idiots nowadays, more times than not thats not the case.
 
Ya, gonna have to agree with Uzor and Ish. It has nothing to do with her RDM skills, but as her skills as a ... what did you call her ... 'cuntrag' was it? lol

I read the original post and I think the fact she was bad at her job was understood and didn't need to be brought up in this post. I don't think it was as huge an issue because the party was in qufim and people are still learning their job roles at that point in the game. The real problem the OP seems to have is her total disrespect towards the members and going afk without any warning to leech exp then trying to ruin the party exp after she had been removed.
