I stayed out of this as long as i could.....

I recall having a conversation similar to your post on words Uzor and the effect on the mind. I would like to point out the generational spaces with players on this game. I know people in their 50's that play this game. For some of them calling someone a negro was just common. Another good word is bling <i know not an insult>. In the 70's/80's it was used to describe wonderwomans braclettes. Now it is for the shiny stuff. Hell as for fagot my brothers would say damn straight i am a female ass grabber and occasional tits. Another great line was i am a card carrying lesbian. I know we all have insulted someone in this game using one rasicest remark or another. If you can't take it don't dish it out. That guy posting the joke on what the japanese call us was not an insult. He did not walk into our homes in real life and call us out or say some other stupid thing. We most likely will never meet him/her so lets take his joke for what it was meant as. Even if you think it was tastless, it was just a joke.

Have you noticed recently that Eleibfrid no longer appears to be an admin or mod? I had been temp banned and then perm banned on the day the temp ban was supposed to end. The ban was entirely unwarranted as I was responding to Meeze in the same manor he had addressed me. Meeze had made a threat of physical violence & I responded with an invitation via PM for said chance for said physical violence to ensue. My response had been made by PM and not via regular post for all others either, but Meeze had decided to go crying to his buddy Eleibfrid (or at least his buddy at the time). Eleibfrid had wrongfully banned me for making a physical violence threat (even though I was only responding to one & via PM) & then perma banned to make matters worse, but the icing on the cake to show the other mods & admins that his actions were done with personal motives in mind, was that the perma ban wasn't put into effect until the exact day the temp ban was going to end. As far as I know, Meeze may not have even been banned for being the one to initially make a threat of physical violence. I had reported this unjust banning about a month ago and now Eleibfrid is just a senior member.

I'm still around, I still play the game, just perhaps not with the same character name, or job. For all you know, most of you may already have become friends with me unknowingly, even though you saw fit to jump about the flaming bandwagon of one of many well-known flamers that post in this forum & talk shit. When I'm done with my little in-game experiment, I'll be sure to let you know in-game one way or another & see how things go from there.

Chances are at this point, anyone who responds negatively now will only cause the stretching of this topic, into areas the topic's title does not suggest, nor was it meant to go. You would probably also be putting yourself in the spotlight of the flameboard for all moderators and admins to see, which for you may not be very wise a thing. Nah, he's been playing this same card long before Neolink starting screaming conspiracy. Pretty sure he's actually been banned for persisting at this idiotic accusation before, and I see it happening again real quick if he keeps it up.

Or the interetation of the word, prob is with typed words they dont have emotions we ourselfs decide what words are by our own senses, and without audio or visual (facal expressions) we have little to go on besides words on a screen.

Sorry I dont mean to argue I just have some strong feelings on how words are taken on a strictly typed format like a forum or a linkshell even.

Interpretation of the word can be grounds for misunderstanding, yes, but that's again based around (mis)interpretation of the intent of the user. You can call someone a theoretically offensive word and tack on something to make them know you're joking, and therefor the intent is not to wound. Or you can have well established patterns of behavior with given individuals that let you say pretty much any horrible thing that crosses your mind and you can be reasonably confident that they'll take it in the spirit it's intended, which is to say humorously.
