Well a while ago I found a race changer that would allow me to change my own race.

Well now I found a JP program that takes it a step further:wink:

I could even make everyone a Garka if I wanted:bb: :crazy:

Its explained how to work it in the link because everything in the program is in japanese. Feel free to ask me if you get stuck too ^^

Edit: Also, beware, your NPCs will change too and they look really messed up sometimes.

Example:

Poor guy mustve lost a leg in a Besieged attack

yeah, i had that program waaay back when.

Hmmm. that's interesting... i stopped using it when more and more files were added and the vtable switching didn't include the newer files... so when i equiped some dream hat, event gear, or some newer equip - it just showed as a nakid body slot.

And for thw curious minds, this doesnt allow you to equip other races RSE and such.



Tyrath, what was the other program that allowed you to change only your race?



EDIT: BTW i would strongly recomend creating a back up of your V.Tables, or even your whole rom files before using programs like these.
 
Yeah... I had this program thing and it killed FFXI after one of the updates. The Vtable and F?table format changed slightly, and it wouldn't start.

Maybe they have changed those files back to the old formats and I can return to being a taru. :smile:
 
You just had to post a pic of me dead as a taru with my ass in the air didn't you. . .

Technically on the screenshots you're a taru.

Awesome program, having tons of fun having everyone playing taru. This and the wardrobe program are awesome :cool:
