Is there a topic or am I really the first one to post this? <_<; Either way, enjoy blowing your hands off kiddos!

I'm going to celebrate the birth of our country by sleeping in until about 4:00 PM or so. Then I'll eat something, then go back to sleep.

The fireworks should wake me up in time for me to see most of them. My life is exciting.

I did that yesterday, except I traded fireworks for thunder and lightening.

Woah. I never realised it was Independence Day.

Some American I am.

Holy shit... how does one not know its Independence day... hell - even Google changes their image for holidays lmao.

<3 Retail jobs

I get to celebrate my freedom today by going to work for 8 hours and doing almost nothing because it will be slow... Then I get to get off right when the fireworks start and try to drive home while the idiots on the highway try to watch the fireworks while they drive. I did my celebrating over the weekend doing the things I can do because we are free.

I don't have to work! That's cause to celebrate!

I celebrated with... a beer and some homemade jerky in the desert. Then I went back to work.

Huzzah.

We had our Canada day July 1st, but it was weird, Worked that day because it was a Sunday, I'm scheduled on Sundays, and everything was opened Sunday as a normal day, then they had the holiday has July 2nd with everything closed. But that night me and my sister's bf set off fireworks in the school yard next to my house.

Heh, no better way to celebrate the birth of your country than by blowing a small piece of it up. Only Americans would ever think to do that. God, i love living a country full of pryomanical jackasses. It's fun.
Happy Independence Day Americans. Everyone else, Happy Wedsneday

Well, we already blow up enough foreign countries anyway.

I was out drinking the night before, and when we all woke up at 8am because we are used to waking up early for work, we decided to go see Transformers. It was awwwwwwwesome. (That's 7 "w"'s worth of good times.)

Afterwards, I went home to take a nap. I was woken up at around 2pm by the sound of an explosion followed by the sound of a tree hitting my outside wall.

When I looked outside to see what the hell was going on, I saw a few teenagers running away. I opened my window and leaned out of it and yelled at them like an old man.

Thankfully the building was fine, and there was no damage to my condo. My downstairs neighbor got his window broken, but he's a dick, so I wasn't upset.

Around 3-ish, I went to my parents house for a surprisingly big 4th of July Party. We're Italian, and we usually don't celebrate the 4th, but for some reason my dad was feeling super patriotic this year. Decorations, fireworks, everything.

We even had a big American Flag cake. I thought that was funny, because we had a similar party three weeks earlier, for my birthday, and there was no cake. Thanks for taking first chair, America, I hate you.

Jonosapi needs to level his cooking. Look what he did to the brats!

Well I don't have a retail job, but I got to work 12 hours and get paid for 20 hours for the 4th.

It was also a nice reminder that my birthday card to my mom probably didn't arrive on time, since her birthday is the 4th (no mail delivery) and I didn't send it until the 2nd. She should be getting it in a couple hours though, only a day late. I can always blame the fact that I only had 2 days off last month, and my last day off was over 2 weeks ago.

How is camel jerky?

Simpsons ftw!

Let me share with yall our brat recipe, call it "The cardiologists worst nightmare"...

Take your brat, slice it down the middle. Place a wedge of a kosher dill pickle inside. Cover it with a slice of Wisconsin smoked cheddar. Then wrap it in bacon. :nyam: Tie it off with some string and throw it on the grill. Place on bun, and enjoy. (Goes best with horseshoes and beer)
