Wow, some of the stuff he's saying is awesome. He told you to die. I've only seen shit like "fuzakennayo omae" in anime. (I think it's something like "Don't fuck with me" but I'm years removed from Japanese class, unfortunately.) He says it's fine that you Black Listed him, called you a filthy foreigner (yet asks repeatedly if you're understanding him), and his response to the friend list was something along the lines of "Of course you declined it." I wasn't able to piece much else out of it though, hopefully someone with stronger Japanese than mine can decipher this crap.

I seem to recall a flame about this guy not liking to be checked and spam-checking anyone who checks him.

He did this to me a few months back when asking if i wanted exp on my rdm...he spams party do you need it? multiple times. I think he hates NA players I didnt realize he was JP until i read this, i'm guessing he didnt understand since i said it in english.

Yup, I checked her once (with Bazzar up no less) and then she spam checked me 10+ times, to which I spam checked her in return. After that she said she was going to GM for /checking and I said go for it. GM never said anything to me and thats that. Raizondetre is a little out there.

This is kind of suprising for me. I used to static with Raizondetre on her Corsair. She always played fine, and had no quarrels with the fact that we (myself and the other english members) couldn't speak a word of Japanese, and that we were English speakers. She's actually on my Friends list.

As for the /check-ing; as I recall she sent me a /tell during our earlier parties asking if she could /check me. It must be a matter of politeness or something along those lines I would imagine.

Known her for quite some time now and she's never shown any racism towards me or my static members... quite the opposite in fact. But then again, I didn't kick her without prior warning before.

Treat them with respect and they'll often show you the same gratitude. Something i learnt from my {English}PT{No, thanks.} flame.

Yuumi, it is good to see your opinion on something like this. We usually only see things from our (NA) point of view.

While I kinda agree it's not nice to boot someone it's also not nice to spam someone with that many /tells.

I've had previous experiences with Raizon before, and she's done the exact same thing to me. She'll check me multiple times and as soon as I check her back, she'll spam me with checks and tells. Now, I hadn't done anything to her at all, never even seen her before. I've heard she does this to a lot of people and even though I tried to talk to her in my best Japanese, she kept trying to insult me.

I'd imagine part of it is just a general level of disdain for the NA players as a whole, much like many people have for xbox kiddies.

Several years of having your words fall on deaf ears will do that, I guess. Neither side is right really, but...

i used to dynamis with rai and i can say that he/she idk is extremely obsessive to a level that i have never seen before. I checked once at the beginning of a dynamis windy and he checked me 126 times... i counted

Allow me to explain uzor's point of view to you or at least the views of others.. it is very offensive to players who attempt to gear thier jobs properly to see somone wandering around in complete garbage expecting that to be acceptable in exp. A lv 75 war running around in sipah whatever-it's-called is a prime example of this.
A party is a group of people people working together for the mutual benefit of exp/fun. They did not gather together to have some parasite who should be farming instead of going anywhere near them party with them. Quite frankly even a pup is preferable to that if they are friends with you.

Second of all. just by checking up on basic cor knowlege from the wiki used some logic to see that stopping rolls at 6 is being a bad cor.
you have a 1/6 chance of actually losing the roll
2/6 chace of getting 1-2 more a tic
1/6 chance of an unlucky roll
and 2/6 chance hat you will be the exact sameplace
logically if the chances of busting are that low it's stupid to to take a chance.
The odds are stacked for you. it takes quite bit of bad luck to lose out on the bonus from evokers

Next thing.. he only maintained 2 rolls. there should be a set for dd and a set for mages.
If it was on uzor's blue mage then there was a better roll to maintain i'm sure.
Even at only lv 37 theres hunter's or chaos roll that can be maintained for a better effect since storetp doesnt affect spells on blu.
If it wasnt for uzor's blu then the cor shoulda been maintaining melee buffs on the DD and not giving them refresh. The guy was doing a horrible job and he really shouldnt have been there. Yeah I wouldnt be too happy about being kicked for sucking either but almost noone wants to realize they suck at something. have your little temper tantrum in your room and move on or try to improve.

Seriously though, how is it offensive to check another player? Unless the person is horribly gimped or has no idea what kind of gear their job needs, so feels ashamed of being checked, then there really should be no offense of one player being curious to check what sort of gear that player uses for their job.

We as human beings are curious creatures, and like to learn new things, so if we get an idea of what kind of gear and such others have, then we can kind of use that knowledge to help our own character improve and look around for that gear. Besides not only that, SE wouldn't give us the feature to examine another player if it was highly offensive, and this feature is like checking up on any other thing, such as auction houses, or even things up on the internet.

This idea that examining someone is really offensive, especially from the JP perspective really makes them look quite dumb, but I'm not going to generalize the whole JP population dumb like this, only really those who are either an asshole or gimped.

IMO, you should've tried to ask the cor why he was only doing two rolls. Switching leaders and having someone else kick him was asking for him to get pissed, though since he went nuts and spammed you, I don't have any sympathy for the cor either.
