It was a dark and dreary night... The thunder rolled... We had a set time our static was going to meet up. It was decided we'd be gathering at 1800 EST to finish off our ToAU missions. Well we find this PLD who is ready to go. Even has a light resist set to try to lower the effects of Divine Judgment. We push the start time back to 1900, we're going to be prepared because Alexander isn't a pushover. Well ls events came up and I was forced to warp and <Run Away!> for about an hour. On my return I find out that the PLD has d/c'd. No biggie, they'll be back... they always come back. We wait for probably a good 12 hours for the PLD and no sign of them. So I ask in my linkshell which PLD's need ToAU44. I get a response and we're off the races. The group has been assembled and we're ready to get kicking like some Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers on some Rita Repulsa. Only one problem now... myself and the PLD have limbus and he doesn't want to miss it. So you know what happens...... AGOGO Limbus! Once the run is over bout an hour later we gather again in a comeback worthy of Vanilla Ice fame. We gather finally and go to the assault point entrance as RDM/WHM BLU/NIN DRG/WAR PLD/WAR BLM/WHM RDM/DRK. We go in, decide we want to change some things about our strategy and exit to reset the timer a few minutes into it. We go get a mythril mirror because we're all so pretty we want to look at ourselves some more. We go back in to the fight. Kill the BLU using magic/mellee/full attack method and head to the gear. Our transformation complete we're ready to take on Alexander... We get to town wailing away like a little kid in a candy shop. We struggled through the first 50% as myself and the BLM kept missing stun on Gospel of the Lost. Well 50% hits we're ready for Divine Judgment to hit and SHAZAM Kaytoe, our PLD, get hit and takes it like a pro. We quickly stun afterward and cure him up as he was at 46HP. We get back at it as the time counts down we only have 18 min to take the last 50%. Neighbor and Myself are back to stunning Gospel of the Lost as the melees continue to do damage. Hate gets a bit tricky as the melees have been spamming Head Butt from the BLU and jump from the DRG. Eventually Angelofcrisis, the BLU, goes down. We RR up and get back at it we're down to 18% with 10 minutes left... We could just do this! All of a sudden I missed a Gospel of Light and Alexander is back up to 28%. Oh we're screwed(not linking it this time) but we continue to grind. We get to about 12% with 2 minutes left. At that point in time you could see 5 2hr dust animations. Skye uses Spirt Surge, Neighbor uses Manafont, Shaddix uses Chainspell, Angelofcrsis uses Azure Lore, and I also Chainspell. I'm doing a medley of spells that include Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, Stun, and last but not least Blizzard3. I can see its HP Dropping from 7% to 6% to "You have one minute remaining" to 5% to 4% to 3% to BAM Divine Judgement eats Kaytoe's lunch to 2% to 1% to what the hell do you know?!?? a loldrg kills Alexander with 34 seconds to spare. Afterward we gathered for some milk and cookies and took pictures.
