    Remember to Finale both of his songs when you engage him, and don't dispel junk like Etudes unless he puts up something nasty. With your gear setup, you shouldn't lose. I fought him with my exp gear, a wing sword, and scorpion harness and beat him using the SV double Paeon strat.

    af quest reset

    I think you must do them all. I've completed AF1 for several jobs and dropped the weapon, and when I last went to reset memories I was only able to reset the jobs I completed.
