I guess i should have phrased it as "people on friend list" instead of friends, but yeah I'm guessing SE wasn't wise enough back when they first released the game to think that the message system could be abused by RMT who seem to be pretty resourceful

I think SE addressed in an interview that they were going to try and make it so only friends can send you messages on POL~

o.o don't you have to pay to send mail in WoW? I dunno, I still like ffxi's mailing system, fast if you don't have to send 50 billion items. WoW's one slot at a time thing seems annoying. Been awhile since i've played so maybe they changed it XD
