no, drks should get Adaman hauberk, thats better and even harder to aquire than Assault Jerkin :P its sad that people go kicking wars that dont use gaxe nowadays. i believe axe/axe can still keep up with dmg with proper equip. i myself lvled war to 75 without gaxe and had to beat maat with axe...

exactly thats the point. if you go through all the work or meriting and equipping a job there should be a noticable difference in the amount of damage you deal (why go through all the gil and work just do raise your dmg by a small amount?). since the update it seems that people can reach the dmg...

i beat maat on my second try, didnt have any über food, just used a mithkabob (beat him up before there was sushi and all that other stuff) mashed him with axe/shield combo, and got lucky (never blocked a hit tho xD) ill post the vid i made in a bit, uploading it atm >.<

i cut our enough outta the log to see the message 'Nikky was defeated by the Vanguard Gutslasher' xD everytime i try stuff like that i die >.< that was without food, only STR equip, Berserk, Agressor and SATA (no Warcry) was never able to get close, 2nd was like 17XX dmg i think >.<
