suikoden

Anyone played this? I think this game is the saving grace of the abomination known as Suikoden IV. And the sad thing is you don't even need to play Suikoden IV to get this one. Its only a psuedo sequel. I love the battle system, a lot of it is like FF Tactics. Theres additional terrain system...

Who did you end up making your main character in Suikoden III? I went with Geddoe. I recently restarted the game though, might go with Hugo this time.

Question on what to do. I just did the Naval battle with Raftfleet on my side, and now the guys that used to do my sailing aren't there anymore. I want to go back to the Dwarf town, but I got there last time from sailing. Is it possible to sail there now?

Anyone a fan of the Suikoden rpgs? I loved 1-3, 4 was ok, but compared to past ones, it was kind of a letdown. Tactics was alright too. From the looks of it, V appears to be styled similiarly to the first 2. Just wondering if anyone is picking this up next week, yes it releases next...

I'm a huge fan of the Suikoden series, a greatly underappreciated RPG from Konami. Suikoden 1 & 2 were amazing. Suikoden Two was probably my favorite game of all time. Three was dissapoiting, but interesting enough to keep me through the whole game. Four, however, was a travesty. I didn't care...

Just bought it today... and now begins to all important willpower battle... FF or Suikoden... argh I need to buy another PS2.
