Grats on the cape! I remember when I fought that guy XPing on my 14WHM, took like 5 minutes...when I saw "Impossible to Gauge" I thought it was way high level and thought I was gonna die XD good old days...

I got the priviledge of leveling with this little taru last night in the shitadel. It was a good time, and helping him with MB's was really fun and brought back some memories for me.

You have a great attitude and are willing to learn which is far and few between with new people.

He asked questions about things and was looking for feedback on things he could change in his playstyle which is very respectable. Keep up the good work and enjoy those NM victories, as they will be something to look back on and smile.

P.S. i camped him for 3 days, 12hours a day and didn't even see him. I finally got a cape pretty much the same way you did, just strolling by. Sometimes it's all about timing.

Spiny Spipi was the first NM i ever killed in the game, before marajade had made his mithra character marajade we had twin taru's and we ran around saruta together. there wa a period where he wouldn't exp with me before i learned poisona because he kept dying... but ya, anyhow, we were exploring the horutoto ruins out that way and he had names off... ran out and hit the first yellow thing he saw... after an epic duo battle of 2 level 8 taru mages and a NM crawler we got teh cape.. he passed because all he wanted was the silk. <3 spiny... reminds me of the best of times!

Something happened like this to me awhile back before I quit, I was in the middle of doing my Lu Shang's fishing rod quest. I was running back to get some more paste and Jaggedy Ear'd Jack was up, unclaimed, and waiting for me to kill it. Any other time when I camped him he never ever dropped.. just so happens the day I run into him by accident he drops.. weird. Things happen when you least expect them. Grats btw!

i'm personally inclined to believe nms like LL SS and such only drop those items once a day

grats on your cape and great player attitude, dont loose it as you get stronger...

You'll need it to camp stronger and more powerful items like Spider Torque which for me was hell.

grats again though I wouldnt worry about Centurio X I his cloak doesnt seem all that impressive it's more of a blm piece i hear

Maybe it's because he put in more effort in his first 30 levels than half of the community does in their first job's entire 75?
