whether your religious or not, theres no denying this girl is freakin amazing. Some of those painting are truly stunning, and its unbelievable they're painted by a 12 year old. some of them she painted when she was as young as 6!!

One part of the story I found interesting, is that her parents were Atheist, and say they never discussed the concept of god with her, before she started painting these.

a slideshow of her work, waaaay to much weird animation used for transitions. but a good collection with more paintings then the first video, and titles/ her age at the time she painted them. this girl is amazing.

What's happened to her lately anyway? She was 10 in 2004 and 2005, so those videos have to be 2-3 years old.

Fake? No ones ever seen her paint, her family wont let anyone see her paint and all the videos are of her touching up pretty much completely finished pieces. Also her family is a family of artists. She gets exponentially better every year that goes by with no teachings and her story is a little to cutesy if you ask me. Her prints sell for thousands of dollars and according to some websites a few originals have sold for 1mil+. Just throwin it out there, whether its her or a family member doing the paints, whoever it is is very talented no doubt, just seems a little weird imo.

wow.... that's so amazing. I wish her well in life she seems so nice and so passionate about her art and such and this world can really be cruel to such people who have such faith (I don't myself) even if no one person is being cruel to them, world itself can be cruel.

Mmhm. Subconsciously no one want to be fooled, so no one ever asks to see proof.

I seen a documentary like that. ( Can't remember what it was called )

It was about some other little girl, even younger than that who supposedly created these very nice abstract paintings, some would sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars. The fact that such a thing came from such a young person with so much potential automatically makes the piece worth something to collectors.

The documentary itself never showed the girl draw anything. Her parents would say things like, she's not into it right now. The documentary also mentioned that without evidence it was possible that this was a hoax.

Apparently it's easy to make people into believers, then in that case the payout comes almost as easy.
