so so far no1 is willing to help. But everyone needs them, people act like they dont get anything out of it, you can get shiva's claws, fenrir's stone(sp), or 10k. You don't really lose.

Yes, but basically they spend 8+ hours in travel time and time to flag the quests, for a whopping 10K? You need to save your whispers, so you can't turn them in for the 10k per fight. Not to mention, you would be there as a paper weight.

I remember back when I helped someone get rank 3. He put me on his friends list and sent me tells all the time, one of them bitching about a whm wants gil for a teleport. He went on and on about the whm code, and how they should help and expect nothing in return. You're expecting 5 strangers to take a huge chunk of time and effort to hold your hand in a party where you won't be a contributing member. You might get lucky with the first 6, but I doubt a 5 member party will take you to fenrir without expecting compensation.
