Bellagio Chip Bandit Caught

lmao . . . what a dumbass XD

Seriously though, I give him a 9.6 on routine, difficulty, and execution, but he lost major points for not stickin the landing :P

rofl, if he hadn't gotten greedy he could have sat on the majority of those chips and made a killing later. /facepalm oh well

lol Whole thing reminds of that old John Cusack movie Money for Nothing. If you've never seen it, you oughtta check it out sometime. I'd imagine you can draw some parallels between the actions of Cusack's character and the Bandit's: "Ok, now that I got it, what do I do with it!?"

Not as much as you'd think. Read the article. They re-minted* $25,000 chips(and likely other high denomination) a few days after, getting rid of the old ones. Which is partly how they caught him. Still he would've made out well, but considering he got away on a motorcycle, I doubt he was hauling around thousands of the $100 chips that would've been too hard to remove and replace, while being easy to recirculate.

*Would it be minting? I'm just guessing it would.

Well he lost a lot of cash as well at the tables, so I'm guessing he's a terrible gambler. He coulda just sold them at a discount, say 80$ for a $100 chip, I mean it would all have been profit regardless >.>

Stupid criminal is stupid.
