Best FFXI day ever!

Hiya, my name's Rothkin, and I've played off and on since PS2 release. I've had good and bad days in this game we all love, but today was an extraordinary day. I've been stuck on Ark Angels for what seems like forever, so when I saw the chance for a DM run(that was posted on here btw), I took it. I went with a couple of friends, so that made it more fun. Avee, Botosai, and myself went in with high hopes. Not only did we win the DM fight, but we broke the record by almost 10 minutes! A new, shiny Suppa was my earring reward.. Great way to start off the day!
After DM, Avee suggested that we go down to Castle Oz and try for the r/e fuma and okote. I had been trying to get these items for a long time. I was 0/43 on fuma and 0/49 on okote. We got Punisher claim 1st(impact knuckles..Shocker! lol), then we went on to Gallant; got claim and got drop! We went back to Punisher, got claim, and low and behold.. Drop! I just sat there with my jaw gaping lol.. Just could not believe it. And to think, I didn't really want to go down there in the first place lol. Just goes to show that with some friends and a little "back-pay" from SE, you can turn a great day into an amazing one Avee and Boto.. thnx so much!

I've camped them 20+ and also go 1/3 or 1/4 with no TH

Not to be "That guy with a sob story" but I went 0 for about 35 on both also. Weeks of my life I will never get back.

Congrats though, that's pretty awesome to get both back to back!

I'm in on that one also Tim, except for the fact that I'm more like 0/124ish on both. Leveled both SAM and NIN on a pair of borrowed Fuma's and non-r/ex O.kotes. Since both at 75, I'm glad I'll never need either again.
