Blogging Vana'diel

[Halifirien]

Between the mini-rants on the political aggravation of the day, I've also been using my blog to keep track of what I've been doing in Final Fantasy XI. I'm curious to know if anyone else does anything similar.

Well, once in a while when I feel like writing in my journal, I record the days events in the great world of Vana diel. Hell, I spend more time there than I do in reality, so, I can't see why I wouldn't write it down...

[Swishiee]

I use my livejournal for my irl crap, and my FFXI site as a FFXI blog. I don't update it every day, but I do when eventful things happen, such as leveling, marraiges, doing missions, etc.

[Nevywyn]

I never used to but Flaruwuru did when he first joined and I'd tend to add my 2 cents worth to it as we were lvling together all the time for a while there, but then life got in the way for me so it sorta fell by the wayside.

I'd kinda like too at least once and a while now that things are interesting in my career but I don't know how to hide player names for when I take a screeny. So I'm very hesitant to use them for anything less someone get mad at me.

No--my journally type rants are usually reserved for other things (you know, glamorous topics like NPR programming and political bitching (I r t3h nerd)).

I do have a bunch of screenshots, though.

You don't know how to get the names to disappear? Just type /names and hit enter. Then type it in again to get them back.

I've thought about it before, but recently shut down my primary journal. I work with Halifirien, so he usually ends up writing something about my progress on his. We're obsessed.
