My roomate is testing WoW, infact he's playing at this very moment. It's not my style of game. But I can see how if your a person you has played the Warcraft series and like that Blizzard style of animation, then id say the game would be right up your alley. The graphics aren't stellar but they aren't horrendous either. I still think FFXI looks way better, but I have seen him play Warcraft III before, and the game relates to that world, and considering the world, they did a god job.
He seems to be enjoying it. I think id be happier on FFXI. From what I've seen they have a really cool death system. When you die you become a spirit, and can essentialy roam anywhere you want to in the world, because your pretty much a ghost. You can do anything though, your dead, but it does provide an interesting view of that world. Though if you don't get back to your corpse within a certain amount of time the clothing/weapons you were wearing will take a huge durability decrease and getting them repaired is costly, though if you make it back to your corpse within the time (which is really easy to do) then you only take a minor durability loss to your items.
It's not my kinda mmo, but I won't say its horrible. It has it's own style. I just dont really like it.
