last night i was going to crawlers nest to help with genkei 1 and you would have never guessed what was at the ent....yeah thats right a damn crawlers train. im there with a 64 drk and a 64 whm and the 50 brd, so we start clearing out the 9-12 that are there at the entrance which include stuff that spawns deeps inside like rumble crawlers. me and the drk got it totally in control and get rid of the soldier crawler and rumble crawler so it would make it that much easier to clear out the workers. then i see on the side of my screen another rumble crawler. and i knew that i already cleared the one out so that only means one thing! yes, another damn train. needless to say, the drk died, the whm died, and the lvl 50 died because of the fact there were so many crawlers, they couldnt get to the ent to zone. RuneKane, correct me if im wrong, but i could have sworn there were about 2 dozen crawlers at the ent when i got out. why dont people just bite the bullet, let the pt leave and have the one person die with the train wherever their camp was. because of this train, there were 6 people that died. and 2 of them being 64+.

Actually I was there too, my PT member was finding us a camp spot before we got there, mentioned that someone had run a 30+ plus train of crawlers. For what I read, it was intentional, but I wasn't there. Yeah, that sucked for everyone around the zone, everyone had to wait for it to split apart, which took forever...

Yeah, there were about 10 of them when you started fighting them... and I started to cure you to ensure you lived... about 8 cure II's worth. Then, I saw some other guy (didnt' see the name) bring about 9 more 10 more crawlers led by a rumbler to the front just as you had gotten the other crowd under control... me and LS mate Kefkha couldn't beleive it, we wished there was something we could've done but there really wasn't. :-/

Anyway, I guess after you zoned back over, some of the workers came after me... DEEP in. I was almost to the Soldier Room and 4 Workers come and smack me for healing you, lol, of course I died. Would've never happened if that assclown would've never trained all those mobs. Even if it wasn't intentional, just die when you get aggro that deep. It helps to not cut off EXP from the rest of the groups in there, and you are likely the only person that will die. Fucking idiots.

i read on another forum that in Gustav, some japanese players are intentually training mobs to the zones, then saying in the translator like
All English Leave Now
something like that, and yeah
but if they didn't mean to train them all
you also have to remember that a lot of other people don't care about your party, they rather not die, and have everyone else die instead, than dieing

ok im so sick of ppl training like 20 workers 20 soldiers 20 of the high lvl beetles (i forget there name) and 20 high lvl skorpians (i forget the name) lol i swre its o anoying lol....i died bc i walked arround the corner were zone is and the soldiers aggrod and the workers linked...i died in like 3 seconds..i couldnt get passed..and last nigght there was the beetles and skorpians too...and a person in my pt died

I'd quote that last post, but it hurts my head..

Yes, trains at the entrance level of Crawler's Nest are bothersome, but unless you see someone say something to the effect of <English> <leave> <now> (which i have never seen), they are almost always unintentional. There is an extremely wide level range in CN, and everyone uses the same entrance, so those people all the way on the bottom level fighting Helm Beetles and Rumble Crawlers come out and zone them in the same place the 32-35 parties are zoning the workers (as you've probably noticed). Dosen't mean it was right of the higher level players, they could have sacrificed themselves for the good of the zone, but keep in mind they're losing more xp for dying, and the chance of making it back to Rolanberry is decent enough to try.
The solution is to find a camp that is either:
A. Right next to the zone, so as soon as you see that train coming you can bail, or
B. Away from the 'train tracks'. Pick an entrance to one of the tunnels on one side in the egg sack room.. ..any tunnel except for the one across from the entrance to the left.. People can drag trains by you all day and you can remain safe in your camp. Just hold off on pulling when you see the train coming back through (and yes, this can take a few minutes. The little buggers move slowww).

Also, as a precautionary measure, bring at least 1 or 2 silent oils with you every time you go down to the nest. The crawlers aggro sound, and if you find yourself somehow in the path of a completely unavoidable train, it'll buy you time to get away.

Everyone wishes the trains didnt happen, but if you use caution you can not only save your own adventuring ass, but you can keep from re-training the things for hours on end, and let everyone get back to leveling quicker. :P

Escape

Hasn't anyone heard of the spell Escape? Honestly, most CN trains are intentonal purely because of this existence of this spell.

Being the DRK that died in that mess, it would be real nice if people responsible would just die for the greater good of their party instead of training every damn crawler in the nest to aggro everyone else. I always try to help people out in trouble when trains are at the zone, but when I die because of stupid moves by some, it just makes me mad. You high levels know what I mean when you die with say about 3k exp loss, it's a b*tch to recover, thank god for the whm who had raise II.

The person who led the train out wouldn't have happened to have been Twistedninja would it.

I've seen that guy run from rumbles too many a times.

Snap, I was going to level in the CN last night. Good thing I didn't...

Not quite sure who it was, all I saw was massive amounts of crawlers surrounding Masterorion and myself. And we had the first 20 or so undercontrol.... >.<

Garlaige --> Crawlers Nest

Last Night, I was actually in an enjoyable party in Garlaige. I played with 5 Meleers but they did a fantastic job so I could keep up in the healing department. After I finally got my Level 35 (my ticket out of Garlaige), we all stayed to help everyone get to 35. But then, the puller (awsome puller that never causing linking bats) all the sudden died by surpise bat attacks.

There were 3 Citadel bats, then there were 5 more a few minutes after. It was so bad that the LVL 50+ players doing coffer keys zoned with us immediately after seeing that many Citadel bats. Outside of the zone, /s with angry words flew everywhere about a particular puller who managed to stay alive, and *many* others died.

I wonder if Garlaige Citadel trains pullers to continue this kind of behavior in Crawler's Nest?
