Halloween Musics . . .

[Dirgesong]

Alrighty . . . I know Sabs and I are Halloween fiends and this last little while I've been trying to pull together a mass list of "Seasonal" spooky tunes . . .

seeing as I know there's a couple music fans among us, lets collaborate the QCDN halloween Winamp/Music Match/I-Tunes/MediaPlayer List.

I know I'm not the only one bored at work during the week.

Lets get rid of the usuall suspects first . . .

Thriller - Michael Jackson
I Put a Spell on you -Screamin' Jay Hawkins (or Marily Manson)
The Nightmare Before Christmas OST
The Rocky Horror Picture Show OST
The Ghostbuster's Themes (yes even the terrible Bobby Brown one)
The Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil
Various Selections of Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath
Monster Mash
Purple People eater
Werewolves of London - Warren Zevon
The Misfits
Rob/ White Zombie
MC Hammer - Adams Family Rap
Elvira Mistress of the Dark had a spooky mix CD that I'm sure could be found . . .
Bauhaus - Bella Lugosi's Dead

Now for some more less obvious stuff
cEvin Key - tHe GhOsT iN eAcH RoOm (eerie ambient)
:Wumpscut: for corny german electro that's comedicially spooky
My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult - Confessions of a Knife CD
Ministry - Every day is Halloween
Type O Negative (More hilarious goth metal)
Dead Man's Party - Oingo Boingo
Malice Mizer (Spooky Bad-ass J-Rock)
American McGee's Alice OST (Chris Vrenna is teh r0xx0rz!)
Hellsing Anime Ost
Organ heavy classical is always good too

[Dirgesong]

Cruxshadows . . . forgot all about them . . . more spooky goth stuff!
and Akira Yamaoka after all what sounds scarrier than Silent Hill??

For added fun I'll pump out a playlist soon . . .

[Dirgesong]

okay . . . I'm re-activating my topic . . .

next on the list . . .

The Nekromantix . . . i'm slow on the uptake when it comes to punk rock.

But I got introduced to these guys on friday and I have to say that they scream Halloween right along with the Misfits . . . Yay
