HOT STORY! WTF??? NIN/BLM??

I will say though that the damage is great but losing the ability to backup
heal gonna get a /kick from my pt.

I still prefer blm/whm.

Blm/nin wasn't the one that was tanking, just what Drew took a Screeny of. The Nin/blm was the one that was tanking.

Thats pretty interesting, although a comparison with a NIN/WAR simply swapping out the staves while doing the spells should be attempted.
Huh?

I would like to know how much nin spells are boosted with their comparable staffs on a NIN/WAR which is the combo your still more likely to see. To determine if it would be worth buying some staffs to help reduce resists or still does some decent improvement.

O okay. I thought a blm/nin was the one in those pics. My b.

aye my pic is blm/nin........ but that really has nothing to do with the topic at hand^^
topic at hand is nin/blm as a tank^^

i just sometimes run around with nin sub for the hell of it...... i won't actually use it for anything

WTH...why is everyone saying that I said...

"I will say though that the damage is great but losing the ability to backup

Quotes are screwed up, that wasn't me.

At high levels with would be interesting to see as if i recall correctly the ninja AF mask and one of the torque's adds to Ninjitsu strength. Also that nin/blm in the picture appears to have Full Fenrir buffs, which is even more int, (Are we *sure* INT is the determining factor in ninjitsu damage? It is NOT based on elemental skill after all...)

I saw a nin playing with that in boyahda today... same concept. NIN/THF he was though.

His ninjutsu did 80 dmg avg. I'd assume the int boost and magic attack boosts from BLM are what settle those numbers.

I had never considered the magic atk trait from blm affecting ninjitsu, but it makes more since now that I have given it a little more thought.

I'm suprised this is even being debated. I'm not saying it doesn't work. It probably works great. I'm glad someone's trying something new. That said, original thinking isn't taken kindly to by the majority of the Vanadiel population. People want their cookie cutters, because it's commonly thought that everything there is to know about FFXI gameplay was learned during the Beta testing and Japanese/import-only timeframe. After all, nothing can beat two years of time honored goodness. Where are all the cookie-cutter police that come out to squash individual thoughts like this?

You don't see war/whm nuking for 130+ dmg while tanking and taking no dmg. I think the cookie cutter police are too busy watching with their jaws dropped. Just the fact that nin can do that kind of dmg free of mp costs makes it look a lot like rng mixed with blink tank.

I'm aware of that, but it says

"Kipsy wrote"

instead of "Domb wrote".
