Ok working a sig, having one problem its a galka and a good stance for them is hard. but found one ^.^ thing is its got to go out of frame to work

bit like
zurisig1hc.gif
where the hands go off frame but the back ground is the coulor of the web site fourm so on QCND be this coulor and on KI be white etc.

So got this

galka6zm.jpg

with this background

background6dx.jpg

so ends up like this:
test15ti.jpg

any one know how to get rid of the white? thank you

edit: talked to tonko and he said a way i could fix it trying it out now

Start a new file and when it comes up with size select no background (or something) and it should end up being a checkered background of gray and white or something. save as .png (.jpg doesnt work if I remember) and there you go.

.png? tonko said .gip i will try that thanks

Or you could just use the Magic Wand tool, and click on the white background. It will cut out every bit of white, assuming that the picture you are showing is not layered. If it is, simply select the background image only, and use the tool on the white border. It's quite simple actually, and will even work on a .jpg. This is all assuming you have Photoshop.

no using gimp lol

Get a trial copy of Fireworks. GIMP is annoyingly similar to Photoshop.

When you save it in photoshop save it as a .gif that is what i do and they come out like this
Panda.gif

wow thats great but i do not have photoshop ; ; i got GIMP and i can get a 30day photoshop trial but then lose it again

If you do this, then when you save it again as a JPG the file will automatically retain the white BG.

As Oraga said (for Photoshop) you need to make a new file and check the "transparent" option so that your bg is actually check marked. Then you can go ahead and do up your sig, and when you go to save it you will need to save it as a .gif file.
