I, too, have recently taken up dragoon as a pet project. My plan is to treat it as primarily a solo job; a diversion, and a challenge. It's something to do when I don't feel like doing anything else. Most people go beastmaster for that, and I started to, but I'm having a lot of fun with dragoon so far.

Also, I didn't want to put up with the kind of crap dragoons have to go through when it comes to getting parties.
