Kyocera Strobe cell phone problems

Have had this phone since 4/23/07 and recently both screens have been going out and acting up and lately just been solid black. I really don't want to replace it yet if I can somehow fix it but i'm not sure of why it is acting like this I haven't chunked it or dropped it in water etc. Anyone have any idea/might be a technician?

I had a Kyocera phone about 10 years ago that had a unique blue backlit screen. I walked around my town a lot, and the fucking thing froze in my pocket one winter. After that the LCD was VERY slow to animate and eventually gave out. I hope their manufacturing and element protection has improved.

I used to be a cell phone tech and it seems as ur probably screwed but might as well have you try a few things... first off check the back of the to see if little dot on the back of the phone is white red or pink... if its anything other than white... water damage. The next step is to do a "master reset" on the phone. What this means is remove the battery from the phone while its still turned on which should shock the system back to its default settings. If its still screwing up after that.. Your boned. cause your out of warranty by about 2 months.
