I do this alot..... alot of people do this alot.....

Ive been trying to level sam, and I seek for a long time with no response, and I guess my brain in an attempt to ignore the voices gets sidetracked and I start doing other things. If you are on a tank or princess job then you shouldnt really be going afk, your invite WILL come, but for DDs... sometimes waiting becomes a 3 hour job.

I think the real problem is that people cant fucking chill out, you ask someone if they want a party, you wait 5-10 seconds and you move on no matter what answer you get.... but no, people have to get all pissy and angry because someone left thieir computer to get a drink or perhaps the phone rang or they have narcolepsy....

Youre getting so angry about people wasting your time that you felt the need to waste another 5 minutes to make a flame about it.... think about that for a sec.

This is why we have Xanex.

are you leaving the reps till last minute? arrange before your tank or healer leave giving yourself plenty of time to plan around.
i'm left to wonder if you've ever leveled thf, drk, drg or pup at all?

and poor shelly, i'v fell asleep in a party before... got tired seekin on drg and finally got the party but tiredness beat defiance.
 
Well i have been guilty of this one a bit lately because it seems alot harder to get parties than it used to be. I can seek on 60s jobs for a couple hours and not get a single tell then i wake up and im still seeking (most of the times with no tells and not intentionally).

The only time that i did it on purpose was when i was irritated about getting tells from people to merit when i was not seeking and had an Xp no thanks search comment and was in a small party screwing around with a friend. So i hoped on bard make a xp comment put up my flag and went on snow skiing for 2 days.
 
Seriously how hard is it to hit the menu button and change your comment to read AFK dinner AFK bio or something. Seriously it's not hard to do. If you have the feeling you're going to fall asleep log off and go to bed.
 
Some things people have said are perfectly valid. Other things not so much. If you are going to go AFK for an extended period of time then by all means put it in your comment/take your flag down.

If a party leader has his panties in such a bunch that i can't even take a piss without having to put it in my search comment, then i would rather not take an invite from that person. It is those kinds of people that tried to tell me how to play Drk when the closest thing they had to a DD leveled at all was Pld.

If it is going to take you the same amount of time +/- 2-3 minutes to put the comment up, as you will be gone, then it is stupid and if you don't have patience for that then you are playing the wrong game.

A piss doesn't take long so I wont complain about pissing but sometimes a #2 can take a while. It would still be nice to leave a comment that says brb bio so people know.

Although what gets me is people that go /away while flagged thats a healer or even more so a red mage.
 
Well Blm getting the many invites they do post 50 (sarcasim) I've been used to leaving my seek up for hours while I do campaign or quests or crafting etc, after four hours I forget the little green mark is above my head and may go away a minute.

Of course thats when the invites roll in, its like they have a sensor that tells them when the user is away lol.
