So I get into a PT this morning with Asuza, whose other character I know. We get decent XP, then he offers to help me with Giddeus key for Kazham so we take off. We get out there and bump into a 60ish PLD hunting for Invisible scroll (why is beyond me) who helps out. Get key, but that INV spell wouldn't drop.
I head back to windy and look for a 2-3 dragon fight for Giddeus, I find a lvl 20 whm and his friend Mypie who are doing it. Mattaru answers one of my shouts and we take off. Destroy the dragon, but not after Mattaru gets cursed and has to walk back a snails pace to Windy.
I blood warp to Jeuno and get a tell my boy Madddogg asking if I had Kazham keys yet, I told him I needed Ghelsba and Palborough Mines. He was helping a RL friend so I tagged along, first Ghelsba and Pal mines. Me and his friend ended up having to solo his Giddeus key cause Maddd had to farm sky. We saw a 59 RNG who helped us out and we got it pretty fast.
I finally get to Bastok and get my rank 3. I trade in some crystals and get the mission. I head to Beadeaux where I have to kill 20 Copper Quadavs, I see they are Even Matches and T's. I eat a kabob and pull one, I kill it with over 130 HP, so I'm pretty satisfied. I do a couple more and a monk named Scooby I think shows up and offers to help out since he is already helping someone out. We get through the 20 and I head back to Bastok.
I get the next mission and try and recruit help in Jeuno, I do a shout in lower jeuno "A guy told me lvl 60+ BLMs suck, and I want to prove him wrong, who wants to help?" everyone responded with stuff like "he lied to you" So I answer them "I was thinking a 60+ BLM would come and do a mission with me in Upper Delkfutts Tower to prove him wrong"
I got one bite, but he was out of time, so I /sea and see my buddy Corvinus seeking on his RDM. We head up and kill the NM and head back to Jeuno. He says I should go for rank 5, and I told him if he was bored I was game. He was, so we went. It took some time, and another blood warp since I forgot a warp scroll one time. But in the end I got my rank, and airship pass!
