MAG Beta Keys

Thanks, nabbed one. Gonna download it tomorrow and try it out. I love Zipper Interactive but am somewhat skeptical.

Mine worked just fine. You click the giant link :|

Mine didn't have a giant link XD I guess it was deactivated so long or something. Oh well it's all good now. I'll download this after I get home from family's

Thanks for posting this, I really wanted to try this game out.

Has anyone else played it yet? I keep hearing it sucks on BG lol Just getting around to downloading it myself right now

I enjoyed the bit I played of it the other day, reminds me a lot of my early days on SOCOM (for obvious reasons), would be better if I had a headset for it, maybe when the actual game releases.

Got my code, DLing it now but gotta goto work in like 30, woohoo retail. I'll check it out later.

Got a key, gonna download later.

Personally, I don't like it. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, and the gameplay at a basic level is very good... but I don't like it. Strangely, I feel like those guys on this board who play the XBox 360 mainly and are really into online gaming and team work would love this game. For a really tight squad you can blast through an entire army of noobs. The downside is I can't just play this game casually to kill a few minutes. The graphics aren't great but they're not bad either. It's standard for a mid-size game, not mind boggling but nothing wrong with it. The connection is pretty much perfect. The menus are however are fucktarded to navigate.

Give them your support then and explain why you don't like it to them :D that's the point of betas (well to bug search too but feedback can be very important)

There's no feedback I can give them. The game is amazingly well put together, except for the funky menu setup. It controls like a good top tier shooter and the balance is quite good. The level design is nice for the players. There's nothing wrong with it. I just don't like it. What could I tell them?

You like other FPS right? :P what's meh to it about you that might improve it for you for this game? Just all I can think of. If nothing than oh well.

Maybe it's just my current lifestyle but I need something I can pick up and play for an hour or even less sometimes. MAG is a 5+ hour thing you do. You gather people, you wait on a giant server to fill up, etc. If I had that kind of time and attention span, and a full 8 man crew to fill up the party, it would be the ultimate win. For me, it's no good.

I downloaded it and sat in a queue for 10 minutes before I said "f this" and logged out. I didn't even get to try it but I don't think I will bother at this point, especially with MW2 in my PS3 atm.

Yeah, exactly, there are just better options out there. Killing 5 people on Uncharted 2 is fine for me. I'm not a hardcore, online badass. Sure, I can get first place in a small game, and me and my friends usually win, but that's in this little pond with a few people.

If I was a real serious gamer who cared about his K/D ratio, was in a really, really tight cohesive unit and was willing to deal with the crap setting up a giant server, this would be the game. There are plenty of people like that out there, though it's more relaxed on PSN usually. If you put this like on a PC, you'd have people who would play this game like a religion. Maybe those kind of people will be flocking into MAG, afterall some did with Socom.

I'm just saying, this game is HARDCORE, for the most hardcore out there, who want to put them and their crew up against an entire army to see how much affect they can have with no real limits.

But that's not me. I play to have fun on a much more basic level; screwing around, shooting people, talking trash over the headset to people who get actually upset, not particulary caring if I'm winning or losing as long as I'm getting some funny kills.
