Ok so i'm not really an addict of the flameboard, and i rarely posted shit about people here, but this just can't be left unsaid, so here it goes.

Ohh and it's gonna be a pretty long one, lots of stuff to say...

Yesterday i was PTying in King Ranperre's Tomb, 71-73PT, XP wasn't the fastest ever but was still ok, and people were fun. Our first PLD, Longarm, disbands and we get Mortechai to replace him. The fun begins....

So basically I invite him (i'm leader) and when he gets in the area, he asks for someone to go get him. Up to now there's really no problem, cause i'm not really sure of the way myself. So I ask our DRK to go get him, since he knows the way. I ask Mortechai to get to the lvl 55ish bat camp at the drop. So he answers me in these words : "Check this, my static and I PTed in Boyahda Tree all the way to Cape Terrigan, so i have no clue of where the fuck "the drop" is." Pretty crude already, but i don't say nothing, and ask our DRK to go get him all the way at the zone.

Next thing, he says "Send someone who can sneak me" (notice he didn't even ask, he just ordered". I ask him why he doesn't have oils. He says "I don't buy them". I ask why he doesn't, and he answers "I don't buy them as in i don't give a damn about buying them." Once again, i want the PT to roll, so i just leave it as it is and ask our BRD to go get him.

So he finally gets here, and we start XPing. Things are going good even though he seems to have a little trouble keeping hate off me at times, but i'm a BLM so i'm used to it, no biggie there. After a while, our WHM seems to be DCing, and can't cure for a few moments. Me and the BRD step in for it, but with Cure III, there's not much we can do. So Medic (our WHM) comes back, and says he almost got DC. Then Mortechai just says "Could you tell the WHM to wake the fuck up i'm dying here" or something like that. At this point he's starting to get on my nerves, so i just tell him to watch how he speaks to others.

Then the climax! We had been talking about i few lvl III agas i couldn't stun, because stun wasn't up from the last use (45 secs recast). So i Stun a Thunder IV, and about 20secs later, the mob casts Blizzaga III. Knowing my timer isn't up, i don't try to stun it, i still have about 25 secs to wait. Mortechai sends me a /t that was followed by that conversation :

Mortechai : Could you at least TRY to stun those aga/IV/AM spells?
Aeron : We talked about it, don't you know what a recast timer is?
Mortechai : Don't you know what these spells do to my HP?
Aeron : I really suggest you watch the way you talk to everyone in this PT.
Mortechai : lol

Then on the next fight, I MB with Thundaga III, which you can imagine pisses off the mob. And he just stops voking until i'm in the red, then covers me. After the fight, he says in PT sorry, had lag, couldn't do anything else. But then after i receive a /t :

Mortechai : I really suggest you watch your mouth, or next time i won't step in at the last minute.

I didn't answer, we went and helped the other PT next to us on a link. Then after i told our puller to stop pulling, and just said "Mortechai you're leaving" after explaining to everyone else the situation, and booted him. I did not warp him, and neither did the other PT.

Funny thing, i spoke with my LS about it, and like half the people knew he was an ass. And I won't say in which LS he is, but it already has a bad reputation. Personnaly i don't have anything bad with that LS, i know a few cool people in it, but this guy really doesn't help their reputation. I told their leader about it, hopefully he'll do something.

Why was he picking on you about stuns when typically stun is the drk's main concern, then blm is backup? And also, did you have ANYONE that could silence? I guess the whm couldn't stick silence? or the bard? I dunno but that would have saved a lot of trouble

PS: Shoulda told him to magically reset his shield bash timer to stun the spells, just like how you should magically reset Stun timer.

You hung in there a lot longer than I would have. People that refuse to buy sneak oil/prism powder I can't stand. As a melee, I try to make it a point to have at least a stack of each on me when I go out to xp. Shit happens like 2+ mob links, elemental spawns, you never know. I know better than to hang around in a party with someone like that. When people are rude and that arrogant, I have a hard time stfu'ing. I know shit is only going to escalate, so normally I look for a replacement. It might be the cheesy way out, but it saves me from getting aggravated. Something of which I get enough of irl. 8)

I had a bad experience with him only the day before and Aeron had told me he was tempted to D2 him before half this shit went down. I'm impressed Aeron didn't. I'm a lesser man and would have found a replacement/D2 ASAP.

He gave me shit after 45 minutes I could not find a replacement (and neither could my party) so I left without one. I usually don't leave without finding one but if the party will not accept anything but another Blm what can I do sometimes. I gave them an additional 30 minutes longer than I said I would. He didn't say anything to me in tells thank god because I would have warped him for being a duche.

Moral of the story: if you need a pld invite Mortachai, but if you want a real pld keep searching.

Yep, nothing like getting hit with Burst from Gration while DC'ing, then teleporting halfway across the field with like 200 HP. Lots of fun.

Haha for real man. Sounds like this guy needs a scythe enema. Being a melee without oils and powders is completely inexcusable. I'm surprised he's gotten that far without them.

i was in that pt. (im the drk =P) Aeron was right. The pt was alot of fun, and then mortechai came ><. Also I was doing some stunning but there IS a 45 second recast. A pld is excpected to get hit with a spell once and a while, deal with it i say. No one ever died so i dont know why he was so upset. I think Mortechai was in my ZM 6-12 pt. I don't remember him being like this at all.

Wow... I finally experienced his asshatedness(is that even a word?) last night in Bibiki. We did have an ass drk who was there just to lvl enfeebling magic and didn't care about exp at all. But he refused to Provoke a pull since "he didn't like it." I found that very rude and the pretty loosy drk was tanking 2 efts (while I slept the other) and died later since he always pulled 2....

But the one thing that pissed me of was he said after 70, it's all about exp, not having fun. If you play for fun, then don't play past 70. I felt really offended since THIS IS A DAMN GAME!!! If your not playing it for fun, quit now and take up a porn adiction or something. He got mad when I was even positive after dying.
