Since this "poll" is obviously about me I will explain something, because some of you... well.. just aren't going to quit. That's okay, I love you anyways, I'm just not going to fight anymore.

I left qcdn because a moderator broke the rules he was supposed to be enforcing. He is no longer a mod and thus can no longer flame bait as a mod, he also apologized to me privately and asked me not to leave qcdn. I think he regrets doing that now, because hating me is so in fashion. I do regret that.

I'm sure that lots of you will be angered by my attempt to garner attention in this oh so high content poll, but like I said, I am who I am. I'm not going to judge you for being the way your are. Have fun.

I have to say no. It just seems like your in some gang..I don't know.

"Oh, just as your warning, if you click to sign up to QCDN, you hereby accept the term that if you make a post about leaving QCDN for any reason at all, you will be banned and cannot ever come back."

What if someone posts a "goodbye" thread becasue of something that's going on in their family life? DO they have to say "oh but i will be posting back so dont ban me please!!"? If they don't do they just get banned?

The best I can say is..that this rule would make QCDN look like a special club. (which it's not)You can join, but if you leave you can never come back.

If you suddenly get a slew of copycats, then I could see it. For now, it seems like you're trying to use a bazooka to kill one fly because of the particular fly in question.

Oh, I'm not voting anyone off the island. Just democratically asking the whole forum if they would like to set a new rule. One which would prevent attention whoring through a false leave from the forum.

And what exactly is this thread if not giving a whole lot of attention to "an attention whore," under the pretense of doing the exact opposite? If you're going to hold people to what they say on the boards, do it for more than just goodbye threads. Someone said they were going to be at a HKTK run on sunday but you're not? Time for the QCDN police to bust down their door and run their character out to den.

What is truly sad is that they call me an attention whore when many have admitted to me in pm's that they have been bashing me all along because it is fun and entertaining. Face to face so to speak, in pm, they have been very calm and in fact, pretty polite. They are keeping it going now for the attention they seek.

They try to one-up each other at how creative they can get at attempting to humiliate me. It's their kink, but not one I've consented to. The fact that the mods let the flamebaiting and bashing go on outside the flameboard is sad too, but there is nothing I can do about that but leave, and I tried that and it didn't work.

It's a sick game they are trying to play with me, but I don't think they can help it, so I can feel some compassion for them, try not to judge, and let things go the best I can. They are a gang of e-bullies lol, and they set their sights on me. I will not fight with them. I'm sure I'll get bashed over this post, and the hardest part is much of this is coming from people I respected and thought well of in the past.

Drama = fail. You could've reported the mod, you could've sent them a PM - but no you decided to theatrically stage a grand exit for all of qcdn to witness. Even now - you could stop feeding these alleged attention whores that have nothing better than to abuse you, or you could ask Reeve to lock this thread... But no, you choose to continue expanding it with more "everyone is against little, old me D:" posts.

Reeve even flatly stated that it won't be happening, so feel free to go about your daily business whilst everyone else goes on not caring that you've returned (and I use the term loosely, as one must first leave before they can return).

If you post a "Goodbye" thread in reference to the boards(not the game,) you shall be banned because you have publicly demonstrated a desire to not post anymore.

why would you have to ban someone just because they said they arent gonna post anymore???? maybe its just me, but i dont get why they would be banned

I'm finally locking this gangbang. If people "quitting" QCDN and then coming back was such a widespread problem - and I don't think it could really be defined as a "problem" even if it was commonplace - you'd have a legitimate gripe and a reason to raise a stink for a new rule all you want, even though this isn't a democracy. As things are though, this petty little notion is aimed at ousting one person and one person only. The whole premise itself is flamebait and the mods, myself included, have let this shit drag on for far too long in the name of curiosity, like people slowing down and gawking as they roll by a traffic accident.

That said, if you're the subject of such attacks and you keep fueling the fire with petty replies of your own, you're just as likely to get slapped down, or suspended, as the people targeting you. You're not a real victim if you giddily keep putting your own head in the lynch mob's noose and yelling for them to slap out the horse from underneath you.
