If anybody here has visited Overclocked Remix before, you know how awesome that website is. If you haven't, let me explain: Overclocked remix is a community of dedicated videogame music remixers, who produce some very awesome pieces. I thought I'd name a few of my favorites. I'd love it if other people would name their favorites - with so much music there, I have a hard time choosing what to download. ^_^
Xenogears - Pillar of Salt
If you're any kind of Xenogears fan, or just a fan of awesome music in general, I cannot stress enough how awesome this song is. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've heard in a good long time - I mean period, not just VG music or remixes. The vocals are incredible.
Chrono Trigger - The Incredible Singing Robot!
This song is happy and fun. It's a remix of Robo's theme - with original lyrics. Very 80s-ish. It made me start playing Chrono Trigger again!
Final Fantasy 7 - A Foray Into Eastern Horizons
A remix of the Wutai theme, mixed with a bit of the Ocean Palace from Chrono Trigger. Some very excellent sounding instruments in this one.
Anyhow, those are my favorites. What are yours?
