Possible changes to the Gaming forums?

[Pupusa]

It's been awhile since we had the "temp" forums for Final Fantasy XII and the Wii, after reading Fly's post (http://www.qcdn.org/showthread.php?t=41206), I think he's right in changing the Gaming forums a bit.

My idea was to make Final Fantasy XII forum into a subsection of the Final Fantasy & Other Rpg's, Change the Wii into a full current gen section (360, PS3, Wii, new PC releases), and possibly make a last gen/old school section (anything older then current gen).

Overall the amount of forums stays the same, and it gives people a lot more to post about, without being unsure of what section it should go in.

Sound good? If anything, the FFXII forum should be a subsection now, it's been out since October, I doubt it'll have any more heavy posting.

I hate to support a guy who's had an FFXI account for 4 years yet hasn't broken lv50... but this layout seems to make more sense than the one I proposed.

The only problem I could see is that PC is always going to be considered "current gen", since it never really gets replaced by a single new revision. However many titles are released on current/past gen systems and on PC, so giving PC a section of it's own would be an overall waste and confusion.

To keep the standard of four forums per section, what if the layout was:

• Current-gen platforms
• Past-gen platforms
• Final Fantasy series - any platform
  • Final Fantasy XII
• WoWturds

Fly's thing there looks like a good idea to me. The only change I would make is to make the FF forum a Final Fantasy series and other RPG's.

One step at a time, I'm in no rush, I'll be hitting 75 in 2030, I promise!
