All began a couple weeks ago, my computer decides to starts to BSoD on me so I purchase a copy of ff for 360(which i've been wanting to do a long time since I got my friend's account), and by some sort of miracle, luck strikes and I get my Hissho Haramaki(1/1), my D.ingot(which would ultimately become my berk+1), and stumble upon the gil to purchase my molione's set in the first couple days I play on 360.

So my brother helps me out to fix my computer yesterday, things are looking up. After camping Behe I turn off my 360 for a bit, planning to return later for other nm's. A bit later my brother tells me I should download ikaruga for 360 so we can play, the friendly green light that I've grown accustomed to begins to flash red as a black screen with a scramble of english and japanese or chinese words on it shows. I'm feeling a bit down now since I wouldn't be able to play for the night, so I planned to get my ff discs for pc back from my friend, who I lent them to, in the morning.

So I pick em up today hoping to have updates done by afternoon and possibly get on for a bit. I had my POL ID written down on one of the booklets in my cd-case, when I get home turns out it's not in there. So I call SE and wait on hold for 15 minutes, I give them name, first and last four digits from cc, and the registration codes from the booklet in the case, turns out they're not my cd's. So I call all my friends who play ff and it seems none of them have my discs.

Now I'm just irritated, trying to guess what my ID is >.<;; Seems like someone/something is trying to tell me GTFOFF.

Ikaruga is an excellent choice. Should also try Triggerheart Excellica.

I want you to call SE, tell them to log you on and give me all your gear. =P

I'm sure one of the guys on here is on your friends list. Just a quick check on your profile and they can pm/email you your own id =D

you see peoples POL ID through email/message?
 
wow that sucks. hope you figure them out. Se really need to find some alternative way to get someone account back then the reg code. You would think with the thousands of complaints they have had they would. Then again these are people that took foreve to place in security features that should been standard day 1
 
I believe you can. Getting your content ID # is a peice of cake, it's the equivalent of your name on qcdn, so if someone is able to tell you your #, it's not that big a deal.

That's like freaking out when someone tells you what your name is on qcdn. It's kinda there for everyone to see if they know where to look.

Sadly I can;t quite remember where it is on your profile... =/
 
If someone is on your friendlist, you can see their ID by looking at your friendlist through the POL viewer before you log in to the game.

Isn't that their handle? I'm pretty sure you can't see the letter/number ID that way..
 
Yea I just tried that by logging into friend's account, this sucks.
 
There has to be something you can do, im really sorry this happened it really sucks. I forgot my ID one time but at the login screen for my xbox atleast it shows it right there.
 
update: Decided to pull a quick-fix on my 360 and use the towel-method to fix the red ring of death, worked enough to copy down my POL ID, now to re-update.
 
I thought it said said the ID right by the handle? Shows the last time i really logged on to the game.
 
Congrats, glad you got to the bottom of that problem. I have my ID written down just in case I ever had a situation like this.
 
I have my POL memorized. I am such a nerd...
