Self-Light SC

Ele thats amazeing as hell. The only flaw i see in it is that if your wyvern has low TP it wont work so its kind of situational.

Nevertheless that is revolutionary for drgs i think. Nicely done ^^

More than the wyvern having low TP, is if you're lagging or are too slow to use Spirit Surge, the wyverns going to have none when it uses the breath attack. You're basically using the two hour before it gets a chance to finish readying.

Actually, that isn't how it works. If the wyvern is already engaged when you WS, you cannot stop it from using its TP.

Notice that Eleibfrid engaged and then did the opening WS before hitting - thus the Wyvern was not yet engaged.
 
I dont think ele's wyvern had the TP to WS at the start of his WS. Notice how when he uses impuls drive it doesnt begin a breath attack, it just had high tp combine with the meditate to give him the 2nd WS to get the 2nd WS off.

Its either that or if you WS b4 you attack first it wont use its breath attack since the battle faze hasnt been engaged long enough, i dont know.

Either way i dont see this being possible in an emergency situation since too many factors have to fall in to place to make it work.

Or you could read another 75 DRG's post directly above yours to answer the question you asked almost 12 hours later?

Well yeah, the self light is not feasible for emergencies but it's easy to self SC. By the time the DRG gets 100% TP the wyvern is usually close. To do the self SC with spirit surge, just have to disengage/engage before doing the first WS.
