Server Banners

G'day all. Sabia has been ever so kind as to whip up some fancy looking banners to link to our profiles to show which server we are on. It works the same way as region and state flags. To edit it, go to the user CP, then to Edit your details, and it should be there for you. :) It may look a little out of place now, but we will be editing a lot in the profile field to make it look more flashy. My plans are to take out the sub field, replace the main field with a small picture of the character sprites, and replace the posts part with one that stands out nicer in the Nightshift scenario.

I got yelled at by the general populace when I suggested this last time. I guess this is just a FFXI board, or so they say.
 
Sabs/all: You know you can't please everyone, and invariably there will be folk who bitch about something not included lol.
 
I like the Retired banner, that and the Quetz one are definitely the ones I spent the most time on.

Just noticed that in the menu to select server that "Quetzalcoatl" is misspelled.

Skreb pointed out to me the banner wasn't working. If you selected the correct spelling of Quetzalcoatl, then you need to reselect it for the improper spelling. I don't know what Miros did. I'm going to assume it had something to do with a javascript template addition that takes the server name and locates it according to that (which is probably why it is misspelled anyways).

To sum it up:
For those of you that selected Quetzlcoatl, ignore this.
For those of you that selected Quetzalcoatl, you need to choose Quetzlcoatl for the banner to show up.

Miros will have to fix this one with Nox probably.
 
I just thought it was amusing that it happened to be Quetz that got misspelled.

Yea, him and Reeve are both really cool guys. Do give him credit where it is due, he does let us do our thing =P.
 
Speaking of those server banners, could us WoW players get Horde or Lame (Read:Alliance) banners where the nation banners go? D:
 
Sorry folks...that was mainly my fault. I was in a little rush to get it finished and I misspelled! It should be all set now however. :)
