Skills caped finally...

Wow didn't think I'd make it one day, but now it's finally done. I caped the most difficult skill to max out.

Ok I admit not all skills are blue but... why would I use club or shield on THF xD.

That was a very long process for me, being a thf for the main part, its really hard to cap parry due to never tanking and THF having too high evasion. That's one of the reasons I leveled NIN, but NIN don't even get more skill ups in parry than THF does lol. Eventually levelled SAM, which has an insane parry skill up rate.

Parry level 1-100 done through standard exping and solo.

Parry level 100-235 done by supertanking five lv 69 chigoes in aydewa subterrains as THF/PLD lol. Can't get more level ups there, unfortunately.

Parry level 235-259 done while farming the 40 millions needed for my three salvage bodies in Castle Zvahl baileys on level 73 demons. Can't get more there ;(

Parry level 259-268 done on SAM while meriting.

Parry level 269 while testing how much additional crits skadi body gives w/r to homam, on colibris.

D'oh just noticed I was using a rajas ring which will screw my tests, have to start over. This explain the 3% less hit rate compared to last wednesday

Welcome to the club =D It's a long process. I got mine by skilling up in Den of Rancor on 5-6 pucks.

Congrat. Farming it the key to cap the skillzor. It can be done alot faster. Longarm capped his in a week from 230 or so to 269 on samurai with staff - damage gears and two cure bombs. Puck in Den of Rancor. I wish it would work for Guard too, been like 3 months to get one level on guard to hit 259 on VT imp. Mobs I farm no longer can skill me up.

I've done a few supertaning for guard too, with chigoes, but yeah it doesn't work as great since mobs keep dying to counter

I could be wrong, i havent checked in a while, but dont you have to be engaged to counter, while guard only requires that you face the mob?

you do. parry too. shield doesnt need it though.

yeah you counter even if not engage and what's nice is that you don't get hate from it, so your healer doesn't get hate either.

Grats. I remember how happy I was to be completely blue on my DRK and it definately didnt take as much time as 269 parry would have. Kudos to you!
