Stupid Pullers *rant*

Ok, this started on Friday night while playing in the Citadel, we were waiting on this ranger who was to join our party there. After almost 30 minutes of waiting we searched for him to find him looking for a group in the Crawlers Nest! We waited for him and the bastard didn't have the decency to say he was not coming after all.

Saturday night I am now playing in the Crawlers Nest and we get a ranger to our party, and look who it is, the same guy we waited on the night before, so keeping my mouth shut, we played.

Our party had 2 rdms and one blm, no whm. So when the other rdm was dead, we still fought while waiting for raise to come. After one fight, I had less then half my mp left (rdm acting as whm) and the other 4 people were half of their HP, the ranger goes and pulls again! Needless to say the poor blm died because we weren't given the chance to recover. So us being upset about the stupid pull, the jackass ranger just leaves the party, no word, nothing.

Sosa is the ranger and he is added to my ever growing list of stupid ass people not to play with!!

sorry long rant, just mad.

Personally i dont see why there is an arguement here...

New to the game or not, 2nd job, 3rd job, 4th job it doesn't matter, please if someone takes the time to INVITE you to a PT at least give them a 15m warning if things are going bad.... I'll admit I have a very low tolerance for PT's that are just horrible, but in this case the PT wasn’t horrible it was down 1 man. I too am a crazy puller at times partly because I still have that confidence in players that I would at later lvls. But if I make a bad pull at the very least i'll bust out my 2 hour to help in whatever way I can…in this case he had eagle eye shot which is enough to take down a crawler to 1/2 life, IF he did not have his 2 hour up it was a misjudgment, plain and simple. Suck it up and shoot the PT an apology and explain to them why u made that pull.

In general if your about to lvl, if your PT sucks, or if you have to leave its simple guys, just give the PT leader a 15m warning so he can find a replacement it really does help the OTHERS who are playing this game too. Sosa... no clue who he is.. might be the nicest person in the world, but bottom line he picked up and left without a simple warning, tell, or a goodbye. Also if you don’t want to PT in a certain area don’t tell the leader you’re coming and not show, it’s very very rude... This should upset the poster more than anything, because as a PT leader you feel an obligation to your group to make it the best possible experience for everyone, and having ppl wait around while someone decides to no show makes you look bad and just ruins the evening for those who are patiently waiting.

This is a flameboard, and I’m glad Millania brought this up, because it’s an opportunity for some of us to learn from. It was a stupid pull, and it was a mistake ettique wise for him to pick up and leave, he maybe the quiet type, could have had a bad day or he may think hes the shit, personally I could careless… its a justified rant.

Regardless of anything that is clearly left to speculation or that is merely hearsay, I think a bad pull can be a simple mistake. It does happen. It seems worse because of the experience had with the same person the evening prior. Sour taste + bad pull + ditching party, without word = WTF?!?!

The only thing that I'd say anything about would be the leaving the party without saying anything. That's pretty disrespectful. Kind of like going to your friend's house and drinking all his beers, eating his food, pissing on the floor, leaving a deuce in the toilet and finally leaving without even a goodbye.

Players who have done that kind of thing in parties I have been in come of like they think they are better than everyone. People like that deserve some craked ribs.

Of course the bad pull could just be a rare mistake...And maybe the guy is nice and just got D/C or felt like he should leave. OK, but I say he should have at least said goodbye, or this party sucks or something. Some indicator would be a small show of respect at least. When you leave a group of people hanging, it's just disrespectful.

Just read J's post. Can't say it better than that.
Well put!

More the reason why PS2 players should really invest in a keyboard.

I have a keyboard with my PS2.
I wouldn't want to part with someone that didn't. It sounds scary.

Heh.. he plays the PC version, unless he also went out and bought the ps2 hdd and the game. I don't think he did that though. Pretty sure on that.

Now if a good number of people have complaints about him, then maybe somethings changed. As it stands right now.. the only person in this thread who's had a bad experience with him is you. That doesn't warrent shit quite frankly

Considering 5 of us were pretty pissed off with him, it does warrant it.

You know Ecks, my issue isn't with you, since you think so highly of your friend and you have great experiences with him, you can post it here: http://www.qcdn.org/viewforum.php?f=3 , The Good times Forum. Otherwise, I have every right to post in this forum my personal bad experiences with this player, afterall, this is what this forum is for.

As for Rank and such, look at my very first post, it's there. I am rank 5 and most of the party was rank 3 or higher. Just because you many be a high level or higher ranking does not mean a better player, actions dictate that. And his actions those two times were just plain bad manners.

Like I said in my original post, it was a rant about a certain player's actions. And I don't care if you don't like a certain area, if you tell a group you are coming and never show up, have the fucken decency to send that person inviting you a tell saying you changed your mind so they can look for another replacement. My god, that isn't asking much but for a little common curtesy! Again, high level does not always mean better player.

Enough said, move on to other topics now.

That's ok Millania we understand : pats her on the back, the motion for the sniper tranq dart to be fired:
