I am starting to look into this... personally I would love an iphone app but the choices are limited at the moment. Trying to get some feedback from other admins that are using this to see if there are any issues we should know about.

They do have an iPhone app (link), unless I misunderstood what you meant. I'm not sure if you talk to any admins over on BG, but they have it set up there.

vbulletin is also supposed to release an iphone app... trying to find out the details and pricing for it. Looks decent. There's a video on youtube if yuou search for it.
 
That won't help me on my Android phone.

No price point yet for the vb provided app (what I'll pay) -- but, the app itself will be available free of charge for you guys to download on both the iphone and andriod powered phones. That alone is a big plus as i would have to buy two tappatalk apps for that.

Keep you guys psoted as I hear more.
 
So vbulletin released their iphone app. Its $99 per year which I feel is a bit steep. The UI is okay but when I use the official app for the vbulletin.com forums, it often has trouble connecting. That plus their horrible track record with vb4 doesn't really give me much confidence on this.

However -- vbulletin also released a mobile style. You can see if by going to vbulletin.com/forum on your phone's web browser or clicking here:

I am not sure if we could style that.

We would need to upgrade to vbulletin 4.1.2 which isn't an issue except we may have to fix this style in some places.
 
We do have a mobile style of our own right now which people have said is really nice.
 
Since Tapatalk is free, would that be an option?

And if not, why not?
