Yeah. making an expansion full of fun content and new items that finally dethrone half of the crap in ROZ just ruined the game. E body is still king but thanks to ares body it's no longer by a ridiculous degree. ridill or axes don't have as huge a gap over gaxe as they used to. Drg finally got completely denerfed after what SE did to them just after ROZ came out. Why one might even say every job except lolpup is balanced as far as the damage output they can do.(disclaimer* most thieves are still too stupid to do thier jobs right so most of em wont live up to half of thier DD potential that they could get from getting a clue or 50k in cheap gear from AH)

B haidate technically have a suitable replacement for mnk/nin/sam during the tp phase ( and for mnk and sam during the ws phase too)provided you get the whole salvage set which when you think about it probably takes far less time than getting your pair during the rmt ulli days with 10+ hour spawns.
We get repeatable quests called "assault" that enable us to get some of the best gear(or even pretty damned close to it) in the game provided we have any skill + luck that dont involve sitting in the middle of a tree for 3 hours while being afk for most of it.
Clearly this has ruined the game.

Most of what you posted has no validity to somone like Ith, who already has most if not all sky gear he would ever need. I highly doubt he would ever want to step back into sky. Plus, the jobs he does have are pretty much weaker than ever in comparison to everyone else, with the exception of him screwing around on PLD with great sword.

As for the above, Idk how you can say Samurai is now balanced at all, and DRG was a fine DD before. People who thought DRG was lol in anyway were ignorant to what the job could do and only looked at the retarded players on the job.

E body was never better than Hauby+1 to a "rediculous" degree. Ridill and axes don't have a huge gap over Gaxe because they are now behind them in damage. Thats a pretty huge change.

I have no idea how you can say assault gear is comparable at all to some of the best gear in the game, besides a couple of pieces that are a bitch to get. (Divisor Ring) Not to mention, assault is pretty damn old now, and nothing new to the OP.

I think you took that broken statement a little too seriously. I was speaking to the OP, not to the noobs who are still in sky on their first jobs. Its not what it used to be, and theres really nothing very new, especially to end game, that would warrant an old player comming back.

EH, I don't really want to get into a battle of semantics with you in a thread that I was speaking to only one person. Broken may not have been the best choice of words, but it is definitely a hell of alot different. If the game is still fun for you, great.

I don't really care what others think personally. It's just that with a very direct statement like that I expect people to be able to back it up. I don't play the game as much because I'm more into WoW now, but that doesn't make me think the game magically was ruined or anything. So if you think something happened in the last few months that would cause you to say S-E is "ruining" the game, I'm just curious what it is. I don't make broad generalizations that I can't back up personally, but to each his own.
