Man you guys are all rocking my taru socks again!

You have no idea how much time I've sunk into trying to get this thing for Porum. I don't level a lot, I don't farm so ALL my spare time has been spent in the highlands, I'm so all over you guys helping out. But I can't pay you back :cry: That's kinda why I'm doing this for Porum, I don't have monies or anything and kinda want to help him out...I'd help Palum hunt the Valk Emp but i'm still too low level to do that.

Anyway if you wanna help me out I'm on it like a fat kid on a smartie!

Just look me up in game, I'll probably be there allready :D
 
No worries Sabia, I'll help you kick some Sheepy ass anyday. Hell, I'll even Sub Ranger for you ^.~ As long as I can have some of the sheepskins to work on my leathercraft ^^
 
They should make the mobs smarter.

For example, if a goblin knows he's going to get totally owned, he would run for it. That way, it makes NM and whatever camping much harder, while at the same time make it possible for people of all level ranges to have a fair shot at them.

In this case a HNM of say, level 26 would disengage and run like shit if a lvl 75 or so came after it.
 
I've always thought that mobs should be a little smarter too. I mean...Why should a Too Weak-- bat aggro on you when you're healing, and not flap in the opposite direction as fast as possible?

Or the same with goblins or other beastmen. Slaughtering Yagudo in Giddeus for a Kazham Key for a friend, made me wonder why, even though the yagudo are too weak...did they still link!? 1 Yagudo, or 10 Yagudo, I can kill them all...you'd think they'd make a choice towards survival, and turn tail and run...(no pun intended)

Same reason, I think, that a lvl 7 RDM, no sub, running around Sarutabaruta, sees Spiny Spipi, attacks, doesn't flap in the opposite direction as fast as possible, and dies. Hee :lol:

Ah, yeah, although I agree these yags should be smarter, there is power in numbers. I have trained probably 20-25 yags at one time...and I'd say 1/20 times, I get stupid by letting myself get down on hp/mp and they all just give me a beat down. So I can see the reasoning around it.... they have their close little community. We're in their neighborhood....they aren't going to let one silly taru come in and wipe them out. If they have enough numbers, they could widdle you down.

As for the Mary topic.... I think since our planned gathering was a flop, we should just take over the Konschat Highlands and have everyone killing sheep for our party. We all make money and have little side games too..lol Then we make the high levels move out because we're overrunning the area (or they stick around and let us do the work...again). I wonder how many times Mary would spawn if we destroyed all the sheep in the area every five minutes..lol.
 
If your going hunting in such a large area, I would suggest someone in your Party sub Ranger and get a wide area scan. I did that when I went hunting for RAM NM. It makes a huge difference. GL^^
 
I have a member of my linkshell who has killed Stray Mary (i think) 11 times, and still has yet to see the drop.
 
Yeah, that's me.... I've killed her 11 times with no drop....GRRRR!
 
Some of us just lack luck with that type of thing.

Im 0 for 4 on Leaping Lizzy, and 0 for 5 on Mee Deggi the Punisher.

At least the 2nd time we taught Simurgh a lesson, we dropped us something good.. but we had to split it 11 ways. :-p

We had about 5 of us hunting her last night - she didn't spawn.

Oh come on, it was fun though! 3 Taru and one big Tin Can of an Elvaan with no direction sense? I thought it was hilarious! ^^
