Here is a link to Top 100 Grossing Films of All Time (a few of them shocked me...then I remembered that the newer ones have grossed more because there are a billion more movie theatres now - than there were in the 50'sand 60's.....and you could buy movie tickets for 50 cents back then.... Meh)

How in the hell is "Attack of the Clones" above "Return of the Jedi." I know they were released around 20 years apart but come on now people. I suggest we all go out and buy Return of the Jedi to turn the tides a little.

It's got to be because ticket prices for Attack of the Clones were $10 and it was in way more theatres...

It is good to se ET is still up there <3

Star Wars > Titanic

Even a retarded newborn monkey could tell you that.

Star Wars movies got re-released for 2 weeks only... and back in 1997 when ticket prices were like $6 not $10.

Titanic was a good movie, deserving of being Top 5 for sure but I couldn't believe HOW GOOD it actually did... Ive been following this Top 100 list for about 6 years or so (I used to run a Movie Review website). But yea... Titanic did extremely well and much better then my expectations.

You take into account inflation and we also may have a different winner. Too bad they couldn't measure by tickets sold instead of gross... but then that'd look more like a McDonald "80 Billion served" ad.

Titanic was worth seeing just to see that guy smoke that propeller near the end...kinda like sitting through meet joe black just to see him get hit by that car 8 times....
