Redesigned sprites, voice acting, remastered music, none of the plot and (therefore) clues missing. Holy crap, I am so importing this. This is everything the anime SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALL ALONG. The game will be released on December 16th.

I am so looking forward to this. Here's hoping NIS America or Atlus pick up the rights to this, though I do hope they get advice from the guys at The Witch Hunt during translation if they do.

Doubt it. The market for visual novels not named Phoenix Wright over here is pretty low. Sure, a lot of people read them, but barely any of them actually buy them.
Maybe this could be a digital release over PSN, but that's as far as I can see this going, if anyone picks it up to begin with.

I wouldn't count it out yet though. Umineko is pretty popular, especially in the West. The import site I purchase stuff from had has Umineko EP1-4 as it's #1 sale for pretty much a couple years now.
