Our DSL cuts out everytime the farmer down the highway uses his rotary phone (Cable is not an option due to the fact that is not available where I live).
I can hear through our line everytime he uses it, and the phone company will do nothing about it. But thats another story.
Well, I was lvl'ing BLU solo in Bubu, had just dinged 18, and noticed the dreaded R=0 up in the corner. Greeeeeaaaaat I thought. This [Tough] Goblin Tinkerer will pwn me and I'll come back dead. Well, of course, when the connection restores and I log back in, I see I've deleveled and am indeed dead. A few Choco riders flew by and suddenly a Taru named Bob dropped off, and raised me. I offered to reimburse him for the Choco, and he refused.
I've posted before similar tales as I've always had a special respect for someone who will drop off a Choco in a middle zone to raise someone, only to have the already tedious, time consuming world travel this game has us endure take them even longer for the benefit of a poor soul who took a death because of a bad net connection, and save me the trouble of having to homepoint and run all the way back.
Thanks again Bob ^^ he also gets the vote for best Taru name ever, aside of course from a mule I saw named Coksafloppin ^.~
