Ok ill list my favorite shows by stars. 4 stars being the absolute best shows you've seen or are watching, perfect in your eyes.

4 stars

1. Firefly (unique, funny, great underrated show- LOL@Jane)
2. Dexter (awesome character, find myself rooting for a serial killer)
3. Rome (Loved the production quality and story)
4. Soprano's (need i say more?)

3 stars

1. Deadwood (season 1 deserves 4/4 stars, but the last 2 brought it down)
2. Scrubs (all 7 seasons gave me laughs)
3. Heroes (great comic book story here, great production)
4. The Office (almost 4 stars for me tough decision)

Honorable Mentions

Weeds, Supernatural, Entourage, Carnivale, Smallville

Is this for current series, or all time?

You had me until sportscenter.

Outside of those already mentioned by others for their obvious superiority, I have a couple to add.

Burn Notice
Kyle XY (Though a bit lame in parts)
Law and Order (Anything but Criminal Intent is always good, CI is hit or miss)
Futurama (How in gods name was I the first to say that?)
Ninja Warrior (I swear I could finish at least any stage 1 before the jumping spider was added)
MXC
Mythbusters
BBC's Robin Hood (BY FAR the best version of Robin Hood to date)

That is hard. All mine are more current, but I find myself liking all that I named even more then Seinfield. So I guess all time?

Well for current shows, checking my DVR, I've got:

Burn Notice
House
Battlestar Galactica
Bones
The Unit
Eureka
Stargate Atlantis
Psych
In Plain Sight
NCIS
Criminal Minds
Doctor Who
Torchwood
Numb3rs
The Venture brothers
Lost
Heroes
Shark
Terminator: the sarah connor chronicles
Shin Chan
Futurama
Family Guy

I'm going all-time, there's going to be a lot more.

I watch alot of tv...

South Park, Family Guy, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Beavis and Butthead, The Big Bang Theory (fucking hilarious show on CBS), Mythbusters, Survivor Man, House, 24, Monk, Wings, That 70's Show...umm, and alot of Discovery/History Channel specials.

In Plain Sight

Dumb fuckin show. I tried watching the first episode but I was bored to death already half way through. Never cared to watch it again.

My favorite shows:

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Still the best of the Trek franchise. Suck it, Picard; you're the same guy in Season 7 that you were in Season 1. Sisko is the best.

Babylon 5 - Epic science fiction. Not without its flaws, but the Shadow War is some damned fine storytelling. I wish more series would map out a multi-year story arc instead of making it up as they go along. Ivanova is god.

Picket Fences - "Douglas Wambaugh for the defense, your honor!" 'nuff said.

The Venture Bros. - The finest exploration of sweet, sweet failure since "Death of a Salesman."

The Deadliest Catch - Those guys are craaaaaaaaazy.

Doctor Who/Torchwood - I'm a Tom Baker fan for life, but the new incarnations are pretty good.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel - I love Slayer action.

The Wire - Omar's comin'!

You really don't have any room to talk listing beevis and butthead, but at least it makes sense that you'd enjoy a stoner show.

lol, ok. I've never even thought of that as a stoner show really. The kid who got me hooked on it 4 or 5 years ago has never even touched pot.
