I've been experiencing some troubles with my 360 wireless mic. Every so often it decides to disconnect itself from being sync'd with my wireless controller and refuses to sync back to that sector and I'm forced to either fiddle with it until it starts to work again or have to go without talking or listening. Has anyone else experienced problems similar to these?

I had that problem right before my Mic went and completely died on me. I'd say its probably different problems since i'm the only person its ever happened to, that i know of. The battery completely died and it couldn't even hold a charge longer than 10 minutes.

Never had an issue with it. How old is yours? We all know how buggy MS' products can be from a launch.

Everyone I've known with the MS wireless headset, 4 people, have told me to stay away from them. They all experianced trouble with them around 3-4 months of use. One of them tried just exchangin' for a new one and his new one lasted about the same. A few of my XBL buddies have given me the same report. So I'm stickin' with my wired one that has lasted me over two years now and is still truckin'.

Everyone I know that's had one has had problems with it.

I'd stick with the wired one.

All I have to say.. GARBAGE- complete waste of money, they're reintroducing the original wired mic, not the revised BS wired mic with a different connection (bc that's garbage too).

My wireless is such a complete pain, won't hold a charge, desyncs itself all the time. Outside 5" of my consol it loses connection.

I'm very disappointed with the "standards" microsoft continues to introduce.

That sucks for you guys, I've had my mic for about a year and a half now at it still holds a charge ( 20+ hours of life). The only problem I have is that it picks up too well, and it echos everything. (But I guess I shouldn't sit 3 feet from my TV...)

It's weird that it loses connection, my roommates controller is starting to do that now, and come to think of it, theres times where my mic will lose sync momentarily and then reset itself.
