Woot! New personal damage record 4tw! :D

While helping Aurin get his G2 done tonight I managed this. Sure the Boreal Hound's weak as heck to physical attacks, but considering my previous damage record's less than half the amount in the pic, and the fact I had WHM subbed, I thought it was a nice amount of damage.

G2 mobs should be exempt from your personal dmg records . But they sure do make you feel good about yourself. Congrats. (I did nearly 2.5k dmg to him in the mid 60's on some friends G2 runs with Cross Reaper).

I was thinking "Wow that's one hell of an impressive Rampage.." *notices Boreal Hound* "Oh, hehe.. yeah I see now." XD

That's about the same as the biggest Rampage I have seen... Only that Rampage was made in sky during one of my Rampage parties.
It was Jamal however who did it, not me
I've done a measly 1400ish as best on those d. weapons.

I have wanted to go back to that Hound now and try a rampage.
Did a 2022 Vorpal Blade at lv62 so I can only imagine.
Heard then that people can do about 5000 or so to that Too Weak hound.

However, for a Bst/Whm I have to agree that is one big rampage

So does Boreal Hound have 0def/vit or something? Keep seeing these massive damage numbers on him but I've only fought him twice.. ;-;
My best's done a bit more than that but it was vs a mob weak to my weapon, so dunno if I should let that count..

Now a funny thing about Boreal Hound and him not counting for damage records... a counterstance'd MNK in ballista has the same defense as he does, yet you'll see people with "uberdrk does wtfpwned damage to ballistamnk" and nobody argues that 'it doesn't count because he was in counterstance.'

No screen shot but I did a 2058 Spiral Hell to the Carby Mitts NM. I really need to try a G2 mob for dmg now.

Congrats G2 mobs always tend to give you a chubby.

Grats Shak! I haven't tried Rampage on him myself; trying to beat this record:

I hear people saying they did 7500 on Rampage to him, but they're completely full of sh_t. That above is with 11 boosts, Dragon Steak (I think), and I think he's got double atk songs.

Now what Nikky did there is very impressive. 1997 in dynamis > amagad O_O
I haven't tried Steel Cyclone myself, only 232 GA so far, but once I cap GA I'll go /thf and find out just how good 1997 is.
Compared to my Rampage I gotta /kneel and /bow though.

everytime i try stuff like that i die >.<

that was without food, only STR equip, Berserk, Agressor and SATA (no Warcry)

was never able to get close, 2nd was like 17XX dmg i think >.<

I figured you was a goner there, heck, even my Rampages kills me every now and then.
I would gladly eat those deaths if my rampage's had a 1 in front of the rest of the dmg though

this was probably 6 months ago, i had for the most part pretty shitty gear, i have much better gear now, could probably push that up to 2500-2600ish

Yeah, they are weak against Physical attacks.

However I Did Firaga III Magic Burst on light on the Hound for 500ish damage. The bastard. My Int was 102 and my elemental magic skill was at 261, and I was wearin a Moldavite.

With a Fire Staff.

Don't recall what day it was.

Meh. SATA only works on the first hit of a WS on subbed THF.

Why not try something else with more STR or Attack boosting abilities. like WAR for Warcry And Berserk? :/

Course you also aren't concerning yourself with DoT like I have to do with DRG, or building TP....

Well, I would be wearing equipment/eating food to boost Accuracy, STR, MND, and Attack (Hexa Strike apparently has 20% STR and MND modifiers, and of course all multi-hit WSs need accuracy). ^^ As for WAR sub... well, my WAR is only 30, so it'd be underleveled. And I refuse to ever level it again. XD
