Xenoblade / Monado a New RPG for the Wii

I'm a completionist <3 I'll be doing ALL the quests eventually hah. Can I do them later in the game though? So bosses aren't too weak to me?

Some yes and some no. Over the course of the game changes to the world occur in which certain people and towns change. From what I gather though (I have a full excel spreadsheet and everything the game offers) these are fairly few in number and seemingly unimportant, but easy to not miss. I've played the game for about 6 hours so far and I could care less to move on in the story. I pretty much did everything story related up until they send you into the first dungeon, I went there just to fill out my parties third slot and then picked up all the quests from Colony 9 and have been working on them as well as abusing the save/load+day/night system in order to farm the NMs for gear. I'm failing to move the story not because I'm not interested, I'm very interested, but I'm just having too much fun to care to move on. I figure I'll milk what I can do dry before I move on as I have a feeling after the mission the town will "change". It seems like all the best items in the games comes from NMs so it's not like I'll miss out on anything good, especially this early, but again, it's a good time so this is how I plan to do it from here on out; quests first, then missions.

That said, I do feel the quests are a bit much and if you're not equipped with a listing you're bound to miss some as they are day/night/time dependent. I think they could have cleaned this up a lot more with a quest board or something, but I guess the game did need some flaw to balance it out. It's not a terrible system by any means, it just feels like a disorganized mess. I can't wait to finish it all up and have the whole world at my finger tips though and just run around farming NMs. I like how they keep it open, sort of sandboxish. Funny enough people keep talking about the Wii's limitations and this game does a great job of debunking that. Sure the graphics are incomparable to HD consoles, though I find them very charming (I like my old school looks still just fine), but the overall scope and performance I find is better than crap like Skyrim or anything I've bothered with on the HD consoles. Hell, throw this on Dolphin in 1080 and bump the FPS to 60 and it will blow your mind (or just search it on YouTube some time).

I don't mind the graphics :P I like em actually. And I like the gameplay. The battle system (which I don't think I've fully opened up yet as I'm still in the start area screwing around too)is fun and the game's got an interesting premise.

I sure wish I knew if I talked to everyone in town and gotten every quest hah.

The completionist in me is happy :D

Yeah, it's a really good. I'm fairly sure it's 100% complete and what's now there is either seemingly not there (it's so buried it's hard to find) or on the Wiki (full drop lists).
