Yourdestiny is a bad white mage.

We were doing really well...the melees had merits and great gear so we were killing really fast, and the WHM always had a safe amount of MP. Even so, he kept spamming his MP report up to 3 times in a row, something like "MP {Check} 467/910" or something. That wasn't a big deal.

What sucked was that he did not know basic enmity management. Spamming Curaga III and Cure IV when he was in the orange or even red...then blaming the melees (yes, melees) for not voking off him when he died.

That was my first party in a long time where anyone died...much less wiped, which we did.

Just a warning: unless you have some sort of backup healer (our bard was too busy) that can babysit Yourdestiny and make sure he doesn't die, stay away.
 
hmm... was he a taru with a nobles tunic that didnt feel like bothering with af so that he had the mnk+ lv 15 mitts? I may have run into him before.
 
First of all YD is a *her* .. secondly she's a very good whm, and knows what she's doing within her job.. I've never had a problem with YD or her curing skills in the past. Sounds like it was more a shitty night for her then shitty skill.

Sounds like your BRD Elaa who casted every song in Nursemaid's Harp and didn't both to refresh you because "I am puller"

Meh, she asked if I wanted it, I declined. I'm not the one who got all huffy and left a party that was doing perfectly fine, am i?

A war dieing 2 times before i left and then sending me tells 10 min later that the pt wiped except for you is fine? Damn i missed when that became the standard for fine.

dude man wtf... you couldnt find any healers around 75 for your merit pt? wow... the shame of you flaming someone who has yet to beat maat and is inexperienced with cannon or merit parties... next time get someone who has popped their cherry yet in a merit pt. i should flame you for just being dumb... but that wouldnt go anywhere -. -

so... your mnk 1337ness required the ballad as much as i did for it to be a concern of yours?

war, war, war, mnk, brd, rdm and the brd is pulling and buffing both melee style and mage as well as enfeebles, amirite?

hmmm well... i think giving a job that is being more over-worked then a silly mnk or war some lee-way is credit due and is fine.

Any decent WHM knows well before 75 that Cure IV and huge Curagas are a bad idea. I'm honestly confused as to what the hell is going on in this thread, but this excuse is just bullshit.

yea... not like the person calling him out for being a waste of space HAS the job leveled or anything like that.... that involves too much logic.

Also, Do you even know what the proper instruments do to songs or just just doing the "zomg their a friend leave them alone" defense?
 
meh, at times i dont give a shit about hate management. its situational, you just have to know when its okay to use a big GA cures and cure IV. alot of it comes from trial and error. honestly its not always easy to be a healer in a cannon party especially as a whm. i dont merit much so i still find it hard in a fast past party. if they are new to cannons, shit happens..get over it and move on.

its not an excuse, and any "decent" whm can manage their own emnity level... if your in a merit pt and theres huge numbers going around in damage then its say that cure 4 and even curagas are safe to use as so long as not done during the start of a new pull.

my point i am trying to bring is loljojojo brought along a 70whm to a merit pt... KNOWING this whm obviously not merited as the rest of the pt was and assuming that this whm should know full well how manage healing and mp structure during fast pulls and emnity management... ya don't invite yourdestiny to a merit pt, she isnt ready... infact, better yet flame HER for being in 1 probably for the 1st time and NOT helping her... this flame is a joke

Good WHMs know to use Regen to help manage cures and use Cure III and V onry. Cure IV is like that last resort (aside from Benediction)where using Cure V isnt MP effective and you are will to take (if any and depending on setup and the tank's skill) the possible hate.

That's just me.

Spaming AGAs and it's corresponding hate is something you learn in dunes the hard way and as you progress. Curagas should be used for AOE Awakenings, after a bad AOE after the mob is dead (we hope) or is still alive; in which case you something small like Curaga II or Healing Ruby II if you are a SMN; then get the party back on track.

Curaga III and IV: I've only used it in Dynamis and after a BAD BAD BAD OMG WTF damaging AOE.

The only thing I can say is, "wow" how many fucking losers use this flameboard to make fun of, or complain about people that they think suck. Remeber its only a FUCKING GAME. Settle down and try not to be so damn stupid over this BS....

It's not difficult, and hate control is something they should have learned from 1-70.

Oh and yes, now club is technically better for WHM. I'd say you were ahead of your time, but... no. ;D
 
the WHM obviously didnt know about Power Word: Shield. It absorbes Damage and allows one to cast and not get interupted.
