My post was just to warn people to pick someone else over this WHM.

And why the hell are people saying I brought a 70WHM to a merit party? I never said it was a merit party. It was a 70-71 (later 72) party. Maybe because I said the melees had "merits"? That just means that they had merited weapon skill on another job...

And yeah, there's no excuse for Curaga IIIing when you're in the red. Don't care who you are, or what your gear's like. Especially if you're a taru; you should definitely know about enmity management then.

Because if you were a melee and taking that much dmg, something is wrong w/ you. AND if you were the BLM in the pt or the rdm or w/e... You should have been curing to help mitigate some of the MP the whm had to spend.

Cure 4 is not a last resort spell.

As far as this flameboard goes, it's basically a small minority of utter and complete losers who have no real life what so ever, who take this game so seriously (because it is their only life they have) they MUST complain and whine about every situation in game that is not absolutely perfect to them. Complaints about ninjas, thieves and things of that nature should be posted in the flame board. Not the rest of the pathetic dribble that goes on here. Why do you think people make fun of QCDN? You actually make more of a bad name for yourself posting the moronic, ignorant, freak elitist threads you guys do then the actual people you complain about.

Then again, it is entertaining reading it all for the normal people that do play the game.

Anyway, I was the PLD there, and I admit, I hadn't partied for a couple weeks and screwed something up early on...Did something I'd never done before, accidentally voked the wrong mob...And I guess she cured me and got some hate (I didn't notice), but the mob came back and killed her...I felt bad about it...until she started saying I sucked. After things got back to normal she wouldn't stop using curagas, not to mention when we didn't need it...IIRC maybe one or two members were even in yellow when she was casting...which didn't get us killed at first, but when we had two mobs at camp it killed her, and OH MY GOD we didn't voke off her...Oh, wait, yes we did, but there was no stopping it, even as PLD in full enmity gear using all my available hate tools I couldn't pull it off her...And you can't say I'm a bad PLD because I have ALL the enmity pieces for my lvl and used EVERYTHING I could to pull hate back. Anyway, I was able to save Jo before I died...after which she kept pulling shit like "Oh, first party I've ever had to leave omg" and other such stupidity. We started arguing in /t and she brought up "after one death i was surprised, but after 2 my LS told me to leave" (with much worse grammar, mind you)...what BS. With all the general noob-tastic crap I had to put up with there...I don't know. She seems to put a lot of blame on others for her stupid ass mistakes.

FYI we pulled about 7k in about 30 mins with a PLD/WHM/BRD/DDx3 party, which is pretty decent...don't know wtf she had to complain about...I guess when other members don't feel like making up for her bad playing she throws little fits.

i dont see anyone getting "owned" in this tread. i see alot of gaps in stories.

YD was 70 but im guessing that the rest of you were 75(or about). were you that desperite for a healer? and another note why would you invite a lvl 70 whm to a party? 70's dont cannon(per say). that really kicks in when you hit 73 and can start wearing most of the cursed gear(assuming you have it) and all.

all of my experiences with said whm have been pleasent. i helped her and several members of her God LS get sky and she did a nice job on the BCNM's. as well as not slowing us down through all the running around. give YD some time and she'll probably surprise you. not used to cannons she probably thinks she needs to keep your HP close to max at all times. you know like you try to do in the traditioal parties? dont flame a person for being inexperienced.

I just try not to use it. It a last resort for me when Cure V isnt an option MP wise; and maybe I use it more often when hate is under control.

i use cure IV when needed and i barely go to V cus of its mp cost... but... i have -13 to -15 in emnity gear so i can lol get away with high emnity spells, that and my regen merits are capped and cleric's briault ... regen = sex :shok:

Moink/Iso: I've done plenty of things with Destiny, decent WHM, but like Zalt says, inexperienced like myself. (I've only been playin' 9 months rofl.) I'm sure she'll get it down so this flame isn't really that big of a deal.

Everyone flaming the WHM in question: Perhaps your flame has some merit, but I believe experience and a helping hand from her friends will polish her skills in time.

I'm a 75RDM, and I've still got a bunch to learn about the job, and I wouldn't have the faintest idea what to do if it weren't for my friends lending a helping hand.

The only valid point you made is in regard to Cure IV, from a WHM. From there, I agree with Davion. Not the ideal, but it serves a purpose.

As Moink stated, you can't read a SC chart, bitch about the green aura in CN when you can fix your settings, and you're a pseudo-elitist.
